Paleo Life Box Review | May 2015

Posted by Lindsey

I’m not strictly Paleo, but I feel my natural preference leans towards many items that are. The Paleo Life Box came in a lovely printed box with a cute leaf accented logo. I opened a big box of snacks and that are organic, dairy free, and wheat free. I would much rather snack on these items during the day than other snacks out there. Here’s what was inside of my Paleo Life Box:

Paleo Life Box: The Bar Snacks

Love the assortment of new bars to try! Here’s what I received:

  • Betsy’s Best Bar None Cinnamon Cardamom Whole Food Rounds: This is an organic protein bar that is in two separate “rounds” so you can snack on them at different times. Value of approximately $2.99.
  • Thunderbird Energetica Cherry Walnut Crunch Bar: Produced right here in Austin, Texas! I haven’t tried one yet, but I love the packaging. Valued of approximately $2.15.
  • Gather Superseed Spirit Bar: These bars are also produced by Thunderbird Energetica and include pumpkin, sunflower and hemp seeds. Value of approximately $2.15.
  • Simple Squares Organic Snack Bar: Little snacks bar with coconut, nuts and honey. Value of approximately $2.00.

Paleo Life Box: The Meat Snacks

  • Braaitime Biltong Seasoned Dried Beef 4oz: This looks like some delicious jerky. Apparently Biltong has it’s origin in South Africa. Approximate value of $6.99
  • Epic Beef Habanero Cherry Bar: I am already a fan of the Epic bars. They’re delicious! Value of approximately $2.59.
  • Nick’s Sticks Grass Fed Beef Snack Sticks: A double pack of grass fed beef sticks with no nitrates. Value of approximately $2.79.

Paleo Life Box: The Miscellaneous Snacks

  • Bubba’s Fine Foods Chipotle Honey BBQ Snack Mix 4oz: This looks delicious. It’s a mix of banana chips, cashews, pecans, apple cider vinegar, smoked sea salt & spices. I like the mix of sweet and spicy. Value of $8.99.
  • Caveman Cookies Rainforest: All single natural cookie. Value of approximately $0.75.
  • Rickaroons Chocolate Blonde Macaroon: This. Looks. Delicious. Value of approximately $2.00.

My Opinion of Paleo Life Box

I received 10 Paleo snacks for $35.00, with free shipping. The value of all of the snacks add up to just under $35.00. So, while you’re not getting seriously discounted products, you are getting curation and convenience by not having to search the stores for Paleo snacks. For that reason, I think this is a great box for those committed to a Paleo diet. I know I will try everything that was included!
