Victory Coffees Review: I Tried the Veteran-Owned Coffee Subscription

Updated by Veronica Aminov

Victory Coffees

Victory Coffees is a veteran-owned, veteran-operated coffee company whose coffee subscription box brings the beans right to your door. Featured on "Shark Tank," Founder and former Navy Seal Cade Courtley won hearts across America (and Mark Cuban's) with his fresh approach to whole bean, ground, and K cup coffees. The patriotic approach isn't just for looks. The company's mission is built around the feeling of sanctuary soldiers having a cup of coffee far from home felt. This is what connected them to home.

What type of coffee does Victory coffee sell?

Victory Coffees are organic and fair trade, and on Cratejoy, you can choose from five international blends in your monthly subscription. Fans love the Admiral Espresso and the many ground coffee varieties offered. Dark Roast, Medium, Light, Decaf, and International are roasts that get rave reviews, coffee-shop worthy, in the comments. I knew I had to give Victory Coffees a try and I’m so glad I did!

Packaging and Unboxing

The box costs $30 a month and I received 8 coffee bags, plus quite a few K-cups. I opted for the variety pack so I received espresso, dark, medium, and light roast coffees. The box was thoughtfully planned and even the shipping box was branded with Victory Coffees logo. Opening the box was super fun because everything was packed in cute paper confetti strips. The entire experience flowed together very nicely and expressed the brand voice perfectly. You can tell that the brand put in a lot of time and effort in thinking through the packaging and the product.

Victory Coffees unboxing

I’ve tried the light and medium roast and am loving them. I also love how the coffee bags give you brewing instructions, even for a French press, which is what I typically use at home! The coffees have a delicious, artisanal flavor and come pre-ground so it’s perfect for those early morning rushes! If you are a coffee lover I definitely recommend!

Final Verdict

For me personally, it may be too much coffee to receive on a monthly basis (as I live alone) but a great idea for this box would be splitting it with a friend or family member. I’ve really enjoyed trying it! If you are a coffee drinker and lover than this is definitely for you! You are getting such a good value.
