Steampunk Gin
70cl
In 1892, Sir Raleigh Holmes-Dunston developed a gin recipe which appealed to the highest echelons of polite society. Smooth on the palate, with juniper, cardamom and citrus melting together in perfect harmony, this gin was a sensation! Gin Palaces all across England vied to get their hands on the precious liquid.
Without obfuscation, prevarication, disambiguation or disingenuous adjectives, The Northumberland Gin Company present the resurrection of this famous tipple in the form of Steam Punk Gin so you too can enjoy the wonderful taste of Sir Raleigh's invention. Steampunk Ltd is an artisan gin producer based in the north east of England and is dedicated to making only the finest examples of this wonderful spirit!
Steampunk Gin: Extremely Rare won a GOLD medal at the 2016 World Gin Masters in London
Botanicals: juniper, orange, lemon and grapefruit peel, star anise, cardamom, orris root
Taste: bright, fresh mouth feel with long lingering finish.
Perfect serve: as there is plenty of citrus in the formula there is no need to garnish with lime or lemon; instead ‘clap’ your hands onto two basil leaves and top up with Fever-Tree Naturally Light tonic water.
