As I prayed about this Box of Blessings, I felt God leading me towards a theme of loving your neighbor. But, what does that look like? Then God put it in a whole new perspective for me, by placing on my heart the theme of this month’s Box: Treasuring Your Neighbor. I was feeling pretty good about myself until I read this verse from chapter 1 of Loving My Actual Neighbor: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Philippians 2:3-4) Wow! That would solve a lot of our problems!
