Dollar Store decor box

Nope. Was looking forward to this box but nope. Yeah they nailed the fall theme but the items are things I would find at Dollar Tree. There wasn’t an included slip that listed item values or anything but I’m sure they would have been seriously inflated.

The highest value item would have to be the felt coasters. I thought the glass jars were nice until I noticed the lids are a super cheap and flimsy plastic. The candle holder has ridiculously bad art on it and the gold accents around the leaves doesn’t stay in the lines. The chest is crooked and janky. The candle is nice but not outstanding. I love the little grey pumpkin.

All in all it’s nice but nowhere near $40 nice. I’d say it’s closer to half that and I’m being generous there.

Good first round

Got 2 books. One was survival in harsh climates+sci-fi elements and the other a dark comedy+supernatural. Finished the first in a day and haven’t started the 2nd. Good books! I’m happy.

Took a while to ship and arrive but the books are in pristine shape and I’m using the red tissue paper for decorating.

Love it. I’ve scanned the first few pages and it’s a great pick. A comedy that’s actually funny. Book is in great shape and arrived quickly and in good condition.

Great and fast customer service!

I subscribed for a 3 month term and cratejoy goofed up and didn’t display shipping on the invoice. It showed dashes so my total showed up as $30. I was startled by the high charge on my card and quickly emailed the box owner. I received a fast and detailed response with a screenshot that includes the shipping price on cratejoy. The charge was reversed before I could respond.

Excellent customer service! Making me wish I didn’t knee-jerk like that. I’ll keep an eye on the page and hope they offer horror as a genre.
