This was my first month trying out this box. I thought it was well-curated and I received Ghana. I was actually supposed to go to Kenya for my birthday in April, but it was cancelled, so I got to travel to Africa vicariously. The books I received were Homegoing and Everyone Needs Traveling Shoes. I enjoyed Homegoing more than the Maya Angelou one. I liked how it went in depth with colonialism and systemic racism through generations of a family tree. Both books did transport me in to Ghana. The hand cream was moisturizing with a strong rose scent. The journal I received was lovely. The musical instrument, I used as an ornament along with the red and white ornaments. It was cool that the items went with the theme. I’m looking forward to receiving the next box with a new country.
This was my first box from them. I’m a huge bath person, so I will use all the items. My favorite item I’m looking forward to receiving in a future bath is bubble bath and I enjoy the bath bombs as well. I’ve only used the acorn bath bomb so far, but will eventually get around to using the others. I do enjoy lighting a candle during my bath time, so I will eventually get around to using the candle. I’m currently using another candle. The body scrub smelled good and I will eventually get around to using it.
I like the panties that come in the box. The toner was nice as well.
