I have received four of these boxes and I am very happy with this subscription. The products are quality, and I love the bonus of receiving a crystal inside the bath bomb! The bath bombs are huge and are fun to watch bubble in the bathtub, and they leave the bathroom smelling so good. I tend to go a bit overboard on my subscriptions, especially for bath and body items, but I definitely want to keep this box coming every month.
Pros - I love the contents of this box. It contains quality self-care items.
Cons - (1) It is the most expensive box I receive. I cancelled at one point, decided to re-subcribe, and the price went up another $7.15. Of course, it is up to each customer to decide if it worth it, (2) the quarterly shipping schedule is hard to understand. I signed up initially at the end of May and received a box a few days later. Then I was charged again in July and received a box a week later. Then I was charged again mid-August and received a box at the beginning of October. This makes some sense if the quarterly schedule is Jan-Apr-Jul-Oct, but I re-subscribed in December and did not receive a January box. At this point I guess I should try not to worry about it unless I do not receive a box before my March renewal date. Still, these boxes are supposed to help relieve my anxiety, not add to it.
I have tried several bath & body boxes, and sometimes I wonder if I am getting a good value. I was impressed by the look of It's the Balm's July box and I was hoping my August box would be just as impressive. I was not disappointed! My box was packed with good things, including a wonderful body butter. It is so moisturizing that I don't recommend using before getting dressed for work. This body butter is for use before putting on your sweats for a relaxing Sunday on the couch, or before putting on your pajamas for the night. I highly recommend this box for anyone looking for a bath & body treat for themselves or as a gift.
