I was really looking forward to this box, but never received it. Ordered in late October and saw that the shipping date was the 25th of the month, so I figured I'd have to wait until late November, early December. But the time came and went. A week came and went. Two weeks came and went - crickets. My renewal then came up and I canceled it - after all, I hadn't received the first box and didn't know if I would want to continue with it. I sent a message to the seller. Crickets. I don't know if the seller has simply discontinued the box - if so, I recommend discontinuing the page. I'd rather believe that then that it's a scam, or that the seller is just so unresponsive to customers. I don't know what the deal is, but I would advise those considering this box to think twice.

I just got my first box, and spent all day with it. And I LOVED it. I'm so impressed with it. The thoughtfulness of the souvenirs and their relevance to the story are just so good - these aren't just random items that are easy or convenient to find. They are items that represent meaningful moments/things in the story. They are also useful and things I was very glad to receive. They're not just going to sit in a box and do nothing. And the quality is so much better than in some other book/gift boxes. The choice of book was wonderful. The packaging was simple, and maybe not as fancy as other boxes, but it was pretty. I'd rather have higher quality souvenirs than a fancy box. So thank you so much, Booked Traveler team! I cannot wait until the next box!!!

First Box - Tropical Delight!
Life's a Wave BEACH box on Apr 2021
I grew up in Illinois and Colorado...pretty far from the beach. And yet, I LOVE the ocean, the sand, everything about the shore. Now I live outside of Philadelphia and as the locals like to say, can go down the shore very easily. I decided to give this box a try after seeing several unboxing videos. I have to say that unboxing it was such a sensory experience! The shells and sweets...as I was picking the shells out of the packaging, it so reminded me of being a kid at the beach (when we visited family in Philly and went to Atlantic City) and hunting for seashells. The scent of the candle immediately wafted over me....so tropical and sunshiny! Everything in this box really transported me to the beach, and I'm so looking forward to putting everything to good use. Thank you so much for a wonderful and TROPICAL experience, and I cannot wait for next month's box!
