These boxes never get old. The stories are always fresh and fun, the puzzles are interesting and challenging, the multimedia aspect is awesome and Deadbolt is run by the nicest people...you won't find better customer service anywhere...They really care about their customers.
This was by far the best serial box I have ever done! Good story, easy to remember characters, fun puzzles (many kinds and difficulty levels), and the most high quality props and tangible items I've ever gotten--even with boxes I paid a lot more for. Each and every box contains really fun items in it (not just paper). Clues are given in the most original, fun ways! There is also a website which provides hints and solutions so you can get as much, or as little, help as you want--and never a spoiler. I strongly recommend A Killing Affair! it's a bargain at this price.
I can't wait for the second series to come out!
Challenging puzzles with a good website component. You will love this box if you enjoy learning about different places and cultures. I had some questions during my first box and I must say the customer service is top notch-- fast and friendly!
Sleuth Kings is my favorite mystery box. I love working with the detective by email to get more clues and to further the plot. Also, each case you solve is followed up with a thank you letter (and sometimes a trinket) as well as puzzles/clues to an ongoing case helping the detective search for his missing father! Solve 4 cases and get a "Search for Isaac" case for free! What's not to love??? Good stories, fun props, puzzle difficulty ranging from moderate to difficult and the best customer service around! Seriously, just try it!
Sleuth Kings is so much fun--you get to work directly with a detective to solve various cases and to help him on a personal case of his own. The stories are interesting, the puzzles are fun (varying degrees of difficulty) and the customer service can't be beat. My favorite part might just be that after you finish a case, the detective sends you some note or trinket in the mail....How fun is that???? (Oh and I believe for every 4 cases you solve, you get a free case to help him solve a personal matter). Oh--just try it...you're gonna love it!
