Generally good product, however customer service needs a lot of work. I really enjoyed my first two boxes and was eagerly awaiting August's crystal grid box. This sadly was not to be. When faced with a missing package, I tried to word my emails in a way that was considerate to the situation, but also communicated my disappointment with the initial response I was given. The initial response made me feel like I was being accused of trying to pull the wool over their eyes and effectively told me that I was SOL. I wrote back, again, trying to be understanding, tho now very frustrated, offered a mutually beneficial solution and communicated that if they continued to refuse to help, that I would not want to continue my subscription. The response I received was even harsher than the first. They cancelled my membership without considering my solution (claimed they couldn't file an insurance claim, when it says on USPS website that they can), and without my consent. A refund is apparently being issued. So instead of actually working with me on a solution, they decided to wash their hands of the situation. I can understand that my stating that I wouldn't want to continue the sub if I didn't receive a helpful response may have seemed harsh, but it is also an understandable emotion on a disappointed customer's part when met with such apathy.
Update: I have yet to receive notification of any refund from them or crate joy. Crate...
Good products, packaging/labels probably need some work. Used the face/body wash; it got just a little water in the label and the ink started to smudge and bleed. Labels were put on sloppily on one as well so it started peeling off.
Otherwise love this box and hope to gift them to family at Christmas!
August 2020. This company knows how to put together a sub box. LOVE them. I do wish that there were actual rituals/spell instructions outlined. They *kinda* are in the online workshop on Teachable, but not really. Although I love your product curation, the written materials can be a bit fluffy and vague. Otherwise, keep up the great work!
Good, will want to revisit again in the future
I think I prefer boxes with either more of a theme for each month's box, or go into greater detail on why they have included each item and provide actual ritual samples/instructions/ideas. This seemed a little haphazard and random.
This month, August 2020, was a miss. Lavender, agate, tigers eye, journal and gel pens... yawn. Nothing exciting, special or inspiring.
This review is for July 2020. Quality of items was hit or miss, especially on anything handmade. The “obsidian” in the bracelet wasn’t even remotely close to being real stone let alone obsidian. Lacquered/enameled resin at best sadly. The homemade candle provided leaked what I can only imagine is essential oils all over it despite its covering. Not a fan of the gold glitter. Basil card was poorly photoshopped and not particularly attractive. Seemed like an afterthought.
Herb selection was nice and the written supplements were good. Green calcite was a nice medium size. And I liked the corn husk poppet making. Thanks for including a handmade bread recipe!
