I ordered a box a couple of months ago after finding out that the craft was something I'm interested in. To my surprise when I got the box, it was a different craft. I reached out to the seller, who explained that materials were not received in time to send out the expected craft. She graciously sent me the craft I was interested in when it was available. The customer service is great. Greta is understanding, kind, and accommodating. And the crafts themselves are great quality and interesting. I look forward to trying out the crafts and to getting more crafts from Craftee DIY.
Update: seller reached out to me after the refund was processed. She let me know that she doesn't always receive Cratejoy notifications and was not aware that I sent her a message and posted question. She offered complimentary boxes to correct the situation. I received the weaving + loom box. It's a craft that I'm excited to try and appreciate that there are multiple project options online. I just wish there were more materials in the box to be able to practice and more instructions in the box itself.
Older Post: Stay away! In January, I placed an order for the February box (loom craft). I was looking forward to receiving this craft. To date, I have not received anything!!! I contacted the seller, but they did not even bother to respond. I had to contact Cratejoy directly about this issue. The seller did not respond even to Cratejoy. Thankfully, Cratejoy was able to refund me the money.
Update: Spice Madam continues to be great in terms of their box content as well as their professionalism and customer service. Highly recommend.
I have received two boxes so far and am extremely happy with both. The spices are great quality and the recipes for dishes I love. I even reached out to the Spice Madam team about possible changes/substitutes to the recipes and they were very responsive and helpful. This month's box is running late, but they were professional in sending out an email to explain the delay due to the emergency situation in Texas. Would definitely recommend this box.
I wanted to try one box from Piquant. As I am a picky eater, I asked them before placing my order about the content of the upcoming boxes. Based on the information provided, I ordered the month's box that I was interested in. To my disappointment, when I received the box, I discovered that the box contained a different cuisine than what I expected and was looking forward to. I contacted the seller and explained the situation. They explained that they had to make last minute changes due to the delay in some of the things needed for the box I was interested in. That I understand. But what I did not understand is their zero willingness to correct the situation. They only invited me to continue my subscription to get the box I was interested in. When I responded asking them to correct this situation, I was completely ignored and my email was not responded to. When I ran into the same or similar situations with other sellers, I've been offered a refund, an alternative box, or an extension of an additional box and sellers were attentive. Piquant unfortunately does not have good customer service. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
