As a 20 year veteran, I really wanted this to be a company I could support. Unfortunately, it ended up being a huge waste of money. I got the largest box and purchased for Christmas gifts. It cost me $150 plus shipping. I got a tomahawk, which was nice but not worth $150 in my opinion. The rest was cheap junk that was marked as their own brand. Not a single brand name item was included. I'm so mad at myself for going with the biggest box. I really regret this purchase.
Not sure what to think of this. It was ok. I received everything I was promised. It just had some weird details that bothered me for some reason. Normally I don't care about packaging, but for this one I wanted to be spoiled for some reason. I was confused by the bright lego printed wrapping paper. Also, I got teeny tiny binder clips. They're about half the size of my pinky nail. These literally have no purpose. I don't know. I cancelled. Something about this just seemed off.
Warning! They won't send you anything. According to my account I'm on my second shipment, but I still haven't received the first one. I should have read the reviews more closely. It looks like this is a common problem. I hate that Cratejoy lets companies sell on their site who take money from people without providing the product they promise.
I bought this box and was immediately thrown off by the shipping cost. It's very misleading to list an item at a certain price and have the shipping cost double the price, especially when it's shipped in a flat rate box. However, I decided to give it a try anyway. My first box arrived on time. I didn't have the packaging issues other people have mentioned. It was actually packaged very nicely. I was disappointed to get 2 overripe avocados I couldn't use, but I enjoyed the rest of the items. However, I got my second box yesterday and half the items were completely rotten. There's no way the person who packed it didn't notice they were overripe. One of the lemons was completely green and white, fuzzy, and squishy. The avocados were in the same state. And the tangerines and one orange were way too soft. Overall it was pretty gross.
This is my first box and hopefully it's just a bad month. I just didn't think it was worth the money. I got a pair of earrings that are cute, but seem a bit cheap, a key chain, a single use sheet mask, and a sample size hand lotion. In my opinion that's kinda weak for a $25. I'll give it another month or two because it could just be an off month. Hopefully it gets better. I do love that shipping was super fast, though.
I got this subscription because I needed an inexpensive way to add some everyday jewelry items to my wardrobe. I only get it once every three months, which is the perfect amount. The items are simple and go with everything, which is exactly what I was looking for. I won't say the quality is the best ever, but for the price it's fantastic. This is a great way to add some everyday jewelry items without breaking the bank. For $9 I got a necklace I have worn almost every day since and a pair of earrings I also wear frequently. They're silver with a black stone and go with almost everything. I didn't really care for the ring, but that's just because it doesn't happen to be my style. They're not mind readers.
My favorite thing about this company is their customer service. They are so friendly and if you have a question or comment they answer promptly. Out of my three items I loved two and didn't really care for one. When they asked me how I liked it that's what I told them and they wrote back and apologized and asked if I wanted them to change my settings so I wouldn't get a similar item in the future. I thought that was so sweet of them.
The design is cute, but these are really thin. They can't be worn as yoga pants. I'll only be able to wear them as tights. The quality doesn't match the price. The company recently changed vendors. Maybe they used to be better quality?
