Q: Do you sell past boxes separately? I want that Ace box so bad!Asked by Rebecca R., July 2022
Hi Rebecca!
We can absolutely do that for you! We'll have to order How to Be Ace, but we can send it your way as part of the August shipment. Just send us a message after you've subscribed to let us know that you'd like the Ace box instead.
Q: Is this shipped in discrete packaging? Asked by Emily L., February 2022
Yes it is!
We ship in a plain cardboard box. It has Glad Day's name on the shipping label in small print, nothing else on the box indicates what it is or where it's coming from.
Many of the books however have covers that clearly indicate that they are LGBTQ+, which may be an issue.
Q: Is there any link or social media to find the October boxed artist, The Square Shop? I can’t find any but really like their art style Asked by Cayden C., October 2021
Absolutely! Their work is really cute and they can be found on instagram @the_squareshop
This was a wonderful box!
I am very happy that there is an option to just receive the books, and that my first month happened to have asexuality as the theme.
March's Basic box contains "Kings, Queens, and In Betweens" by Tanya Boteju and "The Art of Drag" by Jake Hall! The Deluxe Box includes a cute iridescent makeup pouch saying "you betta werk" by etsy vendor SnackAttackCo, and a sticker saying "the shade of it all" by etsy vendor CircleAndBone!
February's Basic box contains "Blacklife: Post-BLM and the Struggle for Freedom" by Idil Abdillahi and Rinaldo Walcott and "All Boys Aren't Blue" by George M. Johnson! The Deluxe Box is already sold out for this month, unfortunately.
January's Basic box contains "Ace: What Asexuality Reveals About Desire, Society, and the Meaning of Sex" by Angela Chen and "How to be Ace" by Rebecca Burgess! If you opt into the Deluxe Box, it will also include an asexual coloured chainmail fidget toy from Starry Stimming and an ace pride magnet from Ripplesplash Studio! Perfect for subtle ace pride, and still great for those who aren't asexual!
December's Basic box contains "The Boy in the Red Dress" by Kristin Lambert and "Unf*ck Your Year" by Faith G. Harper! If you opt into the Deluxe Box, it will also include The Gay Agenda - an undated 52 week agenda - and some Animal Crossing themed adulting stickers from Terriblay!
November's Basic box contains "The Body is not an Apology" by Sonya Renee Taylor and "The Cancer Journals" by Audre Lorde. If you opt into the Deluxe Box, it will also include two pins and a card made by Toronto artist With Love Compassion Cards!
This month's Basic box contains "Cemetery Boys" by Aiden Thomas and "Stealing Thunder" by Alina Boyden. If you opt into the Deluxe Box, it will also include two stickers and a small print made by Toronto artist The Square Shop!
