Q: I'm a beginner gardener hoping to start a year-round garden. If I sign up for this box will I be sent seeds that need to be started at that time of year for my area each time?Asked by Emma K., May 2019
Yes! My seeds are usually for the current season but there's always plenty of room (and seeds) for overlap and on down the road. They send great, easy to read instructions and also include tips/tricks to help you out. Their website and newsletter are both good sources for additional information and help. Sign up now! You're gonna love this subscription!
The seeds have been time appropriate. I am in Texas. It seems like Bloomin’ Bin accommodates as much as possible the different growing zones and advice on how and when to plant. Good luck.
Hi Emma, We have customers all over the US, so we don't gear toward your specific region, but we strive to send seeds that will grow well anywhere. Sometimes they are early, but we like to send thorough instructions so you know exactly when to start your seeds for a good crop! If you need specific direction, I'm happy to answer any question via email (pictures help too :D)

Q: Check my gift For Paula Revis Sent from Holly Burns Sept 23 I can’t figure Your web site if I have excepted the gift Asked by Paula R., October 2019
Q: Are the seeds more flowers or things you can eat? I'm more interested in things I can use for my vegan diet. Thanks!Asked by Kristi P., October 2019
Except for the lowest "Just Seeds" option, you can pick between Fruits/Vegetables, Flowers, or a mix of both. Herbs and Succulent themes tend to be the same items sent to everyone, because they can have uses for both!
Q: I am a newbie gardener and I absolutely love gardening. I do mainly container gardening. I have two questions: 1) I live in Pennsylvania and am concerned that I will not be able to use the seed during the cold months. How do you accommodate for subscribers living in colder climates, if at all? and 2) I do mainly container gardening. Are your seeds good for container gardens, and will they produce a great crop in containers? Thank you kindly!Asked by Leslie C., September 2019
All of the seeds come with an 85-95% germination rate. As long as seeds are stored properly (cool, dry, dark area, like the back of a closet), you'll only lose 5-10% germination rate each year.
For the coldest months, we tend to send seeds that can be done indoors/require a long germination period, so that you can be utilizing them year round, and we send enough that you can try planting seeds a few times in case the initial timing...
I've been gardening for awhile and I think I kill a lot of stuff. But somehow I was able to grow easily with this box! I love it and I can't wait to get more!
From the well-written and incredibly helpful instruction cards, to the handy binder to store the info for future reference, and the well-labeled packets of seeds, Bloomin' Bin has made an impressive entry into my home and piqued the interest of my children. Thank you!
I love this box. It challenges me to grow seeds that I would not have picked on my own. I get excited knowing I have a box in the mail. They provide quality seeds with instructions on how to grow it successfully! Thanks!!
I love the binder and laminated instruction sheets.
I had not prepared planting areas ahead of time so have not yet been able to plant anything!
Was surprised that here were only 2 bulbs but guess that means I just plant them in a flower pot and care for them better. Lol
I love getting fun new seeds every month that I don't typically find in the store! You get nice binder cards each month with growing instructions, and your first box comes with a binder to put them in. I've never had an issue with quality, and they typically arrive 2 days after I get a shipping email!
My daughter gave this subscription as a birthday gift. I am a hard person to buy for & this was perfect. I love gardening & growing flowers from seeds.
I love getting my seeds every month to see what’s new. Thank you so much and can’t wait to see what I’m going to get next month and so on
I've been a subscriber for quite a while and enjoy getting the boxes. In particular, the extensive instructions and advice that come with each box and how to deal with the contents are really well done. I don't have a particularly green thumb, but the results from these boxes and the goodies within has been excellent. And you learn something new every month. Good going Bloomin' Bin!
