This was a gift but my sister-in-law texted a picture upon arrival with a note exclaiming that she loved Every. Single. Thing. in the box! Customer service was great on my end, too. There was a delay on the shipment (between the pandemic & the USPS issues, this was not a surprise) but a Bombay & Cedar rep answered my question quickly. Super helpful staff and super amazing goodies in the box!
Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite subscription boxes. I have been subscribed to this for over a year. Initially I was subscribed directly through their website and I never had any issues with my customizations. When I started subscribing thorough Cratejoy, my customizations were wrong every month. According to them, they never got them. I told them I was logging in to my account every month and choosing, and asked if it was a different process with Cratejoy and they said no. I then asked them to look in to it because there was clearly an issue. I then never heard a response. Over the last two months I have sent messages directly through their website, replied to a message I already had from them in my email, and even asked them for help in the comment section when you customize. I have been completely ignored.
They have always had issues with late shipping, but I always received my box so I let it go. One of the reasons I love this subscription so much is that every month they do offer so many customizations. No other monthly lifestyle box that I know of does that. I also love the curation and often discover products and brands I would not have know about otherwise.
However, now that I can't customize and now that they have shown they have no issue completely ignoring a customers repeated attempts to resolve an issue, I can't recommend this subscription....
I am from South Africa. I paid a 3 month Subscription which was suppose to give me my September, October and November boxes. Till this day I have received NOTHING.
When I contact the SELLER my communication just gets ignored.
Is this what we need to deal with?????

I was super excited for this box. I ordered it almost 2 months ago and have had to reach out to them multiple times. I understand that there are delays but I think the wait is way too long. I ordered the beginning of Sept and according to the product review it ships between 20th - 27th of each month..Well that came and went. I am a patient person but this is ridiculous.
My last review mentioned how unwilling they are to work with me, and their response proves it. They actually went into the back end and updated my box to premium for me and this is when my address was changed. No matter who’s fault it is, i have sent screenshots of the fedex shipping showing first that it was on the way back and then that it was delivered to them last Tuesday. Both facts they could have checked on their own and did not need me to show them. They should have sent another box as soon as the old one was on it’s way back to them, but as Dee stated in her response, for some unknown reason their staff has not processed the return or sent me a new box. Still. And they want to defend themselves instead of making it right by sending a box that I paid for.
Also, they never “confirmed with me.” I have been asking for weeks for them to send a new box and Dee has been putting it off the whole time. Confirmed with me would be more like a joint effort of both of us coming together to work something out. I am leaving this review out of absolute frustration hoping this will help keep them responsible for the customer service they are providing but also really hoping they actually ship the box. I will update this review with the date it is finally shipped.

As we discussed last week, because you entered your address incorrectly, your March box was in the process of being returned by the carrier. We told you that it would be reshipped once the return was processed. We confirmed with you just this past Friday that the box had been returned and a new box would be shipped. We also covered the additional shipping fees for you even though the incorrect address that was entered was not our error. We will follow up you via email. Thank you.

After ordering in October it finally arrived today 12 Jan in Australia thought they said I was getting Nov box but it is Oct after all smells amazing due to oils and shower steamer (the one item I am excited about) but don't think it was worth the wait I will say that each time I contacted them I did get great service
Ordered box Oct. 1. Per your shipping policy box should have shipped by Oct. 20. Still no notice that box has shipped, hasn’t been received yet and contact information on their website is the phone number “123-456-7890”- I kid you not that’s their listed number. I have been charged for this box. Based on other reviews I’m thinking this company is a scam. Contacted them through CrateJoy, still no response. Do not buy!

By frustration, reading your reviews, I see a reference to your email to inquire that was different than my inquire from the site. So I am attempting to get a response by emailing here.

Subscribed and paid in July, was billed again in August, then 2 days before they were going to charge me for September, I finally cancelled. Not one box was shipped. Contacted them a couple times and they did respond, but nothing was shipped when they stated it would be. There would be no good reason to be charged for three months in a row without product. Confused and disappointed.
Brittany, We will process a refund for your August and September boxes. You do not have an order for the July box. The August boxes were always scheduled to ship late this month per the updates on our website. Also, you would not have been charged again until October for your October box. We understand the frustration with any delays but unfortunately, COVID has had a major impact on our logistics. We wish you well.
