Q: Is there a caffeine free option? Asked by Miranda O., February 2021
Hi Miranda,
Thank you for your question. Most of the teas we choose are naturally caffeine free, but if you wanted to ensure your box was caffeine free each month, we can gladly take care of this. Just be sure to drop us a message after subscribing and we'll take care of the rest!
Kind regards,
Book & Tea Box
Q: Hi, i saw in the photos that there were cookies in the box and i was wondering if it’s possible to get a box that is vegan? Asked by Haylee G., July 2021
Hi Haylee, thank you for your question. We don’t currently offer a vegan subscription option, as we ship out the same box each month to subscribers. We’re working on it though and actively trying to find suitable vegan options for the edible parts of the box.
I just received my book brew box from my sister! Loose leaf tea, chocolate, and a good book! Started the book last night! So far, so good! 3 of my favorite things! Arrived with a personalized handwritten note from my sister. If you love to pamper yourself or someone else, this is a great idea! I will definitely be using cratejoy.com for future gift giving!
This box is DARLING!
If you're a book lover and a tea lover, this box is perfect. It is so thoughtfully curated, and comes with a little note explaining the reason why the items in the box were chosen. It's the perfect little "treat yourself" moment. I also love that you can choose which genre you want to read. The presentation is lovely as well. This would make a wonderful gift for the tea/book person in your life, or as a monthly threat for yourself. Highly, highly recommend.
I can't recommend this box more. The cosiness and charm of the selections come from their simplicity. Extremely delicious snacks and teas and a wonderful book(tho I'll admit I haven't gotten too far into it yet), And my first ever Tea-Steeper which I have gotten a lot of use out of. What more could one ask for?
The only issue that I would find is the fact that despite ordering in December, I got my box near the end of February. But honestly even that I can excuse because we're in hard times and I don't know how much of that was due to me personally living in a location that might be a bit harder to ship to.
I initially planned to only have a single box and move on, but I couldn't resist renewing for another 3 month period.
Truly a great box!
This box included a black tea, dandelion and toffee tea from Spiral Tea. Orange matchmaker cookies from The Cookie Bug as well as tea envelopes from The English Breakfast Tea Shop and a burnt wood disc with an autumnul leaf.
Theme: Winter Warmer Novembers box included a cosy book corner from Akara Store London, delicious Chocolate Fudge Cookies from The Cookie Bug and a wonderfully rich and warming Rooibos Chocolate & Mint Tea (along with some mint crisp chocolates!)
Theme: Christmas at home Decembers box was all about making the most of Christmas at home that, for many, looked very different. Included were candied apple scented tea lights from Hathor93 (my favourite Etsy shop!), cinammon sticks, a pine cone decoration, white chocolate & cranberry cookies and a beautifull festive Christmas Tea Blend.
Theme: January Escape January's box included exotic teas to whisk us away from the depths of Winter. Included was a Madagascan Chai as well as a South African Vanilla Rooibos. The biscuits were a sweet fudge treat, with a hand painted wood slice by Happy as Larry Crafts Included too.
February's box saw a fruit explosion, with an Apple & Blackberry tea. Biscuit flavours included fruit crumble and zingy lemon as well as a handbaked shortbread from Georgias Biscuits. To make this months box extra cosy for the final month of Winter, there was also a custom coaster from Love At Number 18 for resting our teacups on!
March was about taking a break before bed time and making sure we unwind to get a fantastic nights sleep. It included some wild camomile loose leaf tea, picked from the Lake District, and a tea envelope from Leafy Tea. There was also some lavender shortbread and a nap-inspiring biscuit from Georgias Biscuits. UK residents also got a relaxing sleep mist, using only natural essential oils, overseas subscribers received double biscuits instead due to postage restrictions.
