I was incredibly disappointed with my first box. I expected a used book, but not a tattered old paperback that didn't fit in to any of the genre options I had requested. I am a librarian, and we sell better quality used books for 50¢ in our basement book store.
I love the mug, but the pencil case zipper broke with the first zip. I couldn't use the hand cream because there isn't an ingredient list attached.
I was excited to support a small business, but am so very disappointed with what I received for the price I paid.
I'm really hoping my second box will be much more satisfying and worth the expense.

I am so sorry you did not like your box. Our books are used may have small rips, creasing, small stains, and other signs of wear as explained in all of our listings. However if a book is damaged in transit please send us photos so that we can assess the damage. We appreciate when our customers reach out to us directly with photos so that we can rectify the situation and we did not see any photos in your previous correspondence telling us that you can do our job better than we have for the past four years. I did double check our lotions and as always the creator of these products does list the ingredients on the label in a smaller type. Examples...
I really enjoyed the book and the stories it presented, especially since the author lived and wrote about the flood on the Red River in Minnesota and North Dakota. It was a familiar, catastrophic event for our area. I will share some of the Halloween items with a young girl I know. Thanks. This is the first time I've subscribed to a box program. Yours seemed to have a unique offering. I also appreciated the handwritten notecard.
It's alright.... the quality of items are fair-ish. if your are purchasing this as a gift though, it will be worth your money to seek a different book subscription that packs new items. It was embarrassing hearing that the books smelled musky, 1 book discolored (like in a smokers house, but doesn't smell like cigs) and the other had water damage but still perfectly readable. I opted for the hot choc for the drink option and there was no hot chocolate in the box, the mug was all chipped up looking like a yard sale/throw away item rather than a mug that was at least in new condition. and the items were like dollar store products. If I could have a do-over with this gift, I would go a different route. if you do decide on this subscription, maybe take it for a spin first with the one or three month option. The packaging was cutely wrapped up. I thought this would be a really fun deal for a gift... disappointed in the quality/items. although both books have been read and they were great books and both are within the selection of genre.

Our box is a used book subscription box so you do have to keep in mind that flaws such as small rips and small stains can be present. We can not speak to how the previous owners of the books lived but we ourselves do not smoke however it is possible for used books to have a smell to them. Absolutely perfect
I am in love with this subscription!! I've gotten one monthly box and one that I purchased from the shop, and both have been wonderful. I got both of them very quickly after the shipping notification, and they were beautifully packaged. This is definitely one to subscribe to if you love interesting reads and cool, bookish items!! I love that they support small businesses as well.
"I would say 4.5. I don't take baths, so sugar scrub might be a more generic choice. I loved the cup,soap ,teas, the sugar cubes and bag they came in. Always excellent !"

"I was thrilled with how quickly you replied when my box didn't ship with the others and I questioned where it was.
It isn't a big deal, however, I believe I asked for coffee and not tea in my subscription, and I received tea. I do like tea, and actually went back and forth about what I should mark, so at first I thought that is what I ordered. I did double check and my order does say coffee.
That being said, I am 100% thrilled with the excitement of opening my box and finding my treasures! It was a wonderful birthday present to myself! "
