I imagine this box would be very nice for the right person, I'm just not that person.
I received the December box. It arrived promptly and was packaged attractively. Unfortunately, I didn't realize there would be so many nut-based items in a personal care-type box. A facial serum with sweet almond oil? Seemed to be nice, but I gave it to a friend. Body cream with coconut and macadamia nut oils? Passed along as well. (Instructions on this said to soften it in the shower or under warm running water, but my friend didn't find this to be sufficient. It was impossible to squeeze out of the tube, so she discarded it.) Wine charms for entertaining...in the middle of a pandemic? Not particularly well thought out. It just made me sad to think about how long it might before before I could use them. So, of the five items in the box, I liked two of them: the winter-themed dish towel and the headband/mittens set (definitely not for super cold days in Wisconsin, but cute enough).
All in all, did I feel the box was worth the price of the subscription? Probably. Would I have selected these items for myself? No. Nothing was of poor quality (except the body cream, which wasn't usable as it was packaged), but it was just a miss overall.
Thank you for taking the time to review your December Box. I'm sorry to hear that your box was just satisfactory and I really appreciate the feedback as so many others have been raving about this box.
As for the nut products - I totally understand where you are coming from on this. We put out a couple of different emails and listed on our social media pages that 2 products did contain nuts and if anyone was allergic (or not into nuts) could contact us to switch out the products.
I'm glad to hear that you liked the headband and mittens. I personally have worn mine most days over the past couple months in the cold Maine winter. :)
I'm glad to see that...
