Q: What is the age rating of the comics that are included? Are they appropriate for 11 -12 year olds?Asked by Erica W., November 2020
To subscribe you must be 13 years of age minimum and be able to pay with a credit card. Most themes are appropriate for all ages above 9 years old if you are gifting the comics. The Adult theme is for mature audiences only. The Horror theme comics are rated T but can be scary for young readers. That is a judgment call for the purchaser. The Kids theme is aimed specifically at comic readers under the age of 9 years old.
Q: Is there a way to request specific comic characters? I'm really only interested in Spawn, Venom, and Star Wars. As for manga? InuYasha and Yu-Gi-Oh!Asked by Mr E., March 2021
Yes! You can make comic book requests by email. Instructions are in the newsletter that comes with your Comics Fan Box. We cannot guarantee that we can supply all titles but big-name titles are a pretty good bet. Unfortunately, my Manga supplier is a little hit and miss but we'll do our best to get it if we can.

You are guaranteed THREE (3) brand new release or re-released comics (released within the last 6 months). We often throw in an extra comic depending on the genre that may be a classic comic or a dollar-bin comic.
NOTE: Manga genre subscriptions are only guaranteed TWO (2) comics. This is because Manga comics are often many more pages like a graphic novel.
Included with your comic books is a newsletter, a 5x7 print of fan art, candy, and a surprise gift.
