Not what I expected as far as value for the price.
I am sorry you feel disappointed with your subscription box. I wish you had given a little bit more context around your review so I could understand and address your concerns better.
There is a lot of time and effort going in these boxes. The majority of the products you are getting are unique, designed and created especially for this subscription box. Considering the amount of time, love and energy I spend on creating and putting these boxes together and the actual value of the products in there, I truly believe the subscription box is worth the price. For example, in the January Box you got a 3cm gold foil washi tape, a 5cm wide washi tape, a clear stamp sheet, 3 wooden...
The look of disappointment on my daughters face (she did not complain, she just said oh well) and the sinking feeling after waiting so long to get this box is an experience we will have for a lifetime. This was my first monthly box subscription and my last monthly box subscription. This product is grossly misrepresented by its title. We didn't find anything vintage or crafty about it. A weird stamp, a leather punch which no one will ever use, some random dollar store train tickets? The upcoming theme is Art Deco? I'm severely disappointed and we were so excited for this to come based on the pictures of previous boxes. I feel so bad that she waited for such disappointment.
photo copies of ephemera on paper not even card stock. Come on you can do better than that. Nothing here is vintage its copies of vintage look everything is small good for tags maybe did get two rolls of washi have to use glue stick to get to stick and a very small wooden stamp. Just not my cup of tea I like to get quality and quantity for my money. I understand the delay of shipping due to covid regulations but it was a huge let down when I got it.
Dear Kathie, I am really sorry that you didn't get what you were looking for in this box. In my description I speak about vintage themed crafting supplies which means not everything vintage because I'm just unable to source so many real vintage pieces for the boxes. I'm sorry if this was not clear and I'll make sure to clarify my description for future subscribers.
Also wanted to let you know that one of the washi tapes is a "sticker" type washi tape which means you need to peel off the part underneath and then it sticks by itself - I am guessing this is the one you meant you had to use glue for.
Overall I do believe there is a good selection of stickers, papers...
