Q: Hello! Your boxes look amazing! However, we are vegan. Is there a way to make sure the snacks we get are vegan? (so, no gummie bears, jelly beans, etc). Or a food-free option?Asked by E. R., August 2020
We aren't that sophisticated, sorry to say. Since the food / snack isn't integral to the date one option would be to just skip our snack and use your own. Sorry!
Q: We have food allergies, are there any allergy friendly alternatives or food free boxes? Asked by Brittany S., July 2020
We do include some snacks in the DateBoxes. Can you let me know what kind of allergies you have? We can make sure to include an alternative.
Typically the snack will be jelly beans, pop corn, or gummies. There are DateBoxes that rely more on the snack. Let me know specifics and we can see what we can do.
Q: I received the mosaic coaster box as a gift but it was missing glue. Is there a specific glue or will an Elmers type glue work. I’m so excited to make these! What an awesome concept you have!Asked by Heidi V., January 2021
So sorry to hear that! Yes any glue will work
Q: Can you just gift this for one month and not do a subscriptionAsked by Ann W., December 2020
Cratejoy is a subscription marketplace so you would purchase a subscription. You can cancel that subscription anytime, so order and cancel after the first box is sent.
Yes, I have done that several times on Cratejoy. Pick the box you like then order a gift instead of a subscription. Make sure that the toggle is set to off for the automatic reorder.
We were so excited when this arrived!
A week before it arrived we were actually hoping to get this box first !
Our first Valentine’s Day together we went to a restaurant that had fondue! We used our box the night before family arrived!
We had a good time with the DateBox. We included some love mapping to the activities and it was a fun and mildly competitive night in. I love the Spotify playlist. That was a nice touch.
I found upon opening the box that for what I received the price is a bit steep. I could've found similar items at the store for maybe 5-10 dollars.
Despite that, it was themed and curated for me. I didn't have to think up a date, create a playlist, or go shopping. It was delivered to me and served as a cute reminder to spend more quality time with my fiance, That made it worth it.
It was ok; thought it would be a bit bigger and more involved
This was our first box. We enjoyed the playlist and questions. We did not use the jellybeans since we were drinking wine. Jelly beans for another date. I am looking forward to the next box.
For the price, I was definitely expecting better. It was very silly
I was so excited to try this box and it absolutely disappointed me!!!!! Was NOT worth 40$ could have gotten every thing in the box for under 5$ very sad about this.
Super cute idea! It did not take us all that long to complete the activity. I feel like a lot of thought went into it and that was so nice!
It was a fun box for when the kids go to bed and the wife and I start our date night.
Our Hot Ones Date Night was inspired by the Hot Ones Streaming interview show. Our date night features all the fixings for a hot sauce challenge, coupled with our fun interview cards. You'll have a great time guessing each other's answers, climbing the hot sauces, and claiming your "I like it hot" or "wild and mild" pepper reward pins! Packed 8 sauces - this was a club favorite!
This was a swank date night, featuring the boggle meets scrabble style game of Wordtini. Packaged in a cool shaker, it included challenges and questions for couples. Paired with our chocolate covered nuts that looked like martini olives, and a recipe for vodka soaked gummy bears. Loads of fun with this cool theme.
This fun box had couples creating mugs for each other, as well as a fun twist on pick up sticks. The questions deck was a strong connector for conversation. This date night featured 2 diner style mugs along with 5 paint markers and Krispy Kreme donut Jelly Belly snack.
This date night included an interactive book that would have couples creating their story together, and recording all the special things they love about each other. We included 2 journals for additional memories. Truth or Dare Rally Roll game jumped over to a lighter connection, but equally fun. Gourmet popcorn snacks also included.
What says Summer of Love more than tie-dye? This summer date night included everything needed to create tie-dye bandanas together, and featured our exclusive "Newlywed Game" for some spirited game play bringing back memories together.
Our String Art DateBox included everything needed to complete two beautiful display pieces. The step by step instructions made the creation easy, and our "What Would I Be" game connected couples to keep the conversation lively. We included 8 patterns to choose from, plus enough supplies to complete more projects later on if desired. Who doesn't love a great DIY together?
Our Q-bitz game night date night was a member favorite. It’s easy to play, and very addicting. We included all the fixings for Nutella “Fairy Sticks”, an amazing yummy treat. Our “Questions From the Heart” deck was designed to add a special layer of connection.
