You are billed the day you sign up to receive a box, and then the 11th of the month every two months thereafter.

We ship boxes out every two months. The next box will be shipping on or about November 15th. Then January 15th, March 15th, etc.
Q: What is the last day that I can subscribe to get this month's box?Asked by Christine S., September 2020
We only ship boxes every other month. The deadline for our next box, which ships November 15, is October 31. So if you order today, or any day between now and October 31, you will receive the November box.
