Q: Would this be good for a family with kids ages 4-16? Would it bore the 4 year old?Asked by Sarah D., March 2020
Not sure how a 4 year old would do but our 8 year old loved helping out. Even if it was just writing out clues, hints, words or reading the clue he felt very much apart of the adventure and fun!
My kids are 8 and 9 and enjoy doing them. 4 might be tough, but they might like playing with the toys that come in the box! There are some simple puzzles, but most might be too mudh for him/her.
Q: I have just received my 3rd box of 3. My family really enjoys these and I would like to sign up for more. I don't want to receive any of my original 3 again. Do I need to do anything?Asked by Robin V., March 2021
Hi Robin! So glad you are enjoying it! Our system should catch sending duplicates, but if not we'll always make it right. We send an email each month letting you know which mystery is shipping, so you can always reach out and let us know if you've received it before and we'll switch it out for you. Cheers!
Q: can you order just one box. Want to see if they enjoy firstAsked by Linda M., April 2020
Yes - I ordered a gift box for my family. You have the option of gifting just one time instead of month after month.
Q: So I bought this as a gift for my 74 year old mom. She's totally excited and her first box came today, but she said there were no directions...help?Asked by Sue B., June 2019
In the introduction letter, it says to visit a website. That website is the start of her adventure. Please note that she will need the Internet to get clues and to solve the mystery.
Zayani is right. When you log into the internet websites it guides you from one part of the puzzle to the next.
If your mom is on Facebook, she should join the Finders Seekers user group. It’s a great place to go for a hint from other players when you get stuck on a clue.
I did this with my kids as a family activities. My 7 and 11 year old both loved it. I also loved that the puzzle was educational. My kids learned about other countries while having fun.
Very well put together! A lot of fun for our whole family and brought everyone together. Highly recommend!
So challenging (but not impossible) clever and tons of fun. Cannot wait for next one! Thank you!
Our family of four - 2 parents, 2 teens - had a lot of fun solving the puzzles in the box. Some were easy, some were very challenging. And the information that we learned about Timbuktu was fascinating. We look forward to learning more as we research on our own. Thank you! It was just what we needed as we are hunkered down during the pandemic.
We had so much fun doing this as a family! The puzzles were challenging and had us working together. We will definitely look into doing another box.
Perfect balance of challenge, education and enjoyment. Contents are very well made, online visuals and history are superb. A great date night activity.
Excellent beginner/intermediate puzzle box in an escape room style. Was great to do together as a family with precocious kids aged 8 and 12. It was not too difficult for our 8-year old to meaningfully participate, and was challenging enough to hold the interest of our 12-year old and grown ups, though I think the grown ups would have found it a bit too easy if we were doing it on our own. The Iceland pics and info and the Jules Verne backstory added a lot to the enjoyment. Now we’re planning a trip to Iceland!
We love our Finders Seekers puzzles/subscription and the Iceland adventure was our absolute favorite! We didn't have to be logged in most of the time and it really grabbed our imagination. We love traveling with Finders Seekers and hope you will keep creating more journeys for us!
Always a fun date night! We are amazed at the complexity of the puzzles and how every box is so different!
