Quality time with my 3-year-old

I got this as an activity to do with my 3-year-old while we're home because of COVID19. He loves to help in the kitchen, especially to mix ingredients for baking, so I thought this would be a good fit. AND IT SO WAS!
Our first box was the May 2020 box, which was all about plants. We got a recipe for thumbprint flower cookies, a cookie cutter, kid-sized bowl scraper and whisk for the recipe. The little guy helped whisk the dough (I did most of it) and he cut all the cookies himself and used his own thumb to make the hole for the jam. The cookies were delicious (I wish I had a photo, but all 3 dozen of them were gone before I had a chance to take a photo!).
The box also came with an activity booklet with some plant-related math and reading activities that he is too little for. And, the box also came with black beans and instructions for a science project to grow bean sprouts, which we just did yesterday and he's super into it. He keeps going to check if they're growing!
Overall, I'm so happy we got this box and I can't wait for the next one! I'll update this review with a photo next time before all the cookies are gone :D
