We got our first box a few weeks ago and have been doing one project out of it a week to keep busy this summer.
This week we made butterflies out of coffee filters, markers and pipe cleaners. My kids loved coloring the coffee filters with markers and then watching the colors move up the filter once we put it in water. It was fun watching their creations change over time. We can't wait to do the rest of the activities we have in our box.
Thank you Green Kid Crafts for making such a fun box for us to beat the summer blues.

Hey- I thought I extended the subscription. Unfortunately it appears that where I small having it sent my grandsons received two of the same bix. I need to just extend the subscription not double it.

Not happy that we received the robot box twice! We got it a couple of months ago and just received it again. Not happy with these boxes at all. My 4 year old is thrilled with it either.

Our children really enjoyed recording their own curated box off science experiments. We also enjoyed creating further exploration around each boxes subject matter. Their favorite box was the volcano box. Children love chemical reactions. They feel like magicians! We would love to see more experiments of that nature. Thank you

The box arrived very quick and, to my surprise, was filled with materials to create 6 different projects all centered on the theme. The details of each item placed in the box for each project - from a small bottle of glue to the stickers used to decorate the items - were thoughtful and well done. My only issue, which is small, is that I chose a box for a younger child (around 2) and the projects were more than she could understand, unfortunately. We still had so much fun working together to complete some of the projects and look forward to trying another box in the future. Thank you!

The products were cheap and something I could of bought a dollar store! I cancelled my subscription and my son was beyond disappointed. Never again will I order. This was beyond misleading from the Description in the picture

I was disappointed in this box. We got the mad scientist one and while my 3 year old did enjoy the projects, they were over in a couple minutes and there's only enough material to do each one once. She'd just get excited and then there was nothing left to do. The materials were so cheap that some didn't even work as they were supposed to. For example the Decorative tape For the rockets doesn't even stick to the paper. I unsubscribed after one box.- update - I got a second box because when I signed up I canceled a few minutes later and then signed up again through cratejoy for a better deal. Apparently the first order was still processed because according to them their system assumes I only meant to cancel the reoccurring boxes not the original or some nonsense like that. Regardless the second box was the safari and it was a complete waste of money. The activities didn't even make sense! I emailed and they said they had to swap out items after printing the pamphlet so they didn't have time to redo. So some of the instructions didn't even go with what was in the box. The box consisted of some small plastic animals that were cheaper then dollar store materials (and choking hazards)and a tiny bit of clay for them to walk on and leave tracks.but some of their feet were just blobs of plastic so they didn't really leave prints. This is a great box. We were sent Backyard Science - it has a paper mache globe, make your own paper kit and leaf pressed clay amulets in it. My kids favorite was the paper mache globe. It was really messy but my kids didn't seem to mind :)

We ordered this product because most of the examples shown on the website were science experiments and we wanted to supplement our science curriculum at home. When it arrived, we received the 'art' box. Several okay projects, but materials we all have at home already...nothing really new or creative. Very bummed out. I wish we got one of the science kits like shown in the examples. Will not be continuing a subscription.

My four-year-old and I are having so much fun with the outer space kit. The space sand is exceptionally cool. My only recommendation is to include a tube for the shooting star launcher. It needs to be strong like the one included for the planetarium project, and regular toilet paper tubes don't work well. Looking forward to next month's kit!

I had high hope for this box, I really thought it would be perfect for my little one. I have currently received two boxes and I am terribly disappointed. The overall concepts are good and I like the number of activities in the box. A decent portion for the activities require you have/get certain items, which is a bummer. The bigger issue I have is with the instructions for the activities. The instructions are poorly written and most of the time need to be more descriptive. We have had failures on two separate slime activities because there is no units of measure used in the instructions. I don't know what a large cup or a spoonful means.

I bought this box to be a science supplement for my homeschooling curriculum. On the main page there is a kid with test tubes doing an experiment with materials in a beaker. The box for this month however is all craft supplies with instructions on how to make the different crafts. It wouldn't be a bad box if I was looking for a craft box but I wanted a science box. Since the acronym is "STEAM", I am hoping the boxes rotate through each subject and I just started on the "Art" month so I am not canceling my subscription yet.

This box was SO MUCH FUN. It was really was SO nice to have several activities all planned out and prepped and ready to go! In addition to the prepped materials in the box, These pictures are from our first box, Backyard Science. My kids loved making their own paper! I thought they would need a lot of help with this project, but after the first three sheets, they took over and made the rest totally by themselves. They used the homemade paper sheets for artwork. They had so much fun with the other projects too - the leaf pressed clay pendents and nature collecting bag decorated with leaf rubbing plates. This box kept us busy all day - it was a perfect summer activity box that made for wonderful memories.
