Our experience with Green Kid Crafts has been a rocky one. We received our first box in March and it was good. Great projects to complete. Our second box which was for April took about 15 days from shipping comfirmation to come. I noticed that the boxes were not the actual level subscription we had ordered. I did reach out to them. They did respond in a timely manner and said I was correct and they were having issues. They said we would get the correct level box in May and would not worry about renewal until July. We never received a May box and when I reached out we received a generic email about issues they are having. They never communicated this to us before I reached. We cannot continue a subscription that is so unreliable. To me it seems like a complete waste of money.

My kids loved their Weather Science box. The theme of the box was very timely because we are going over the weather in our homeschooling lessons. They both loved building and decorating the weather station kit and recording the daily weather. The cloud finder craft was super cute and the windsock project was also a hit. I liked that there were lessons on how to use it to record wind speed. Super fun, super educational.

I was worried about getting the Junior box that they may be too "easy" for her as a 4 year old (since it's listed for 2+), and even considered getting the Discovery Box for 5+, but we are very happy we stuck with the Junior Box. There are parts of the projects she can do alone if I read her the instructions, and others that require my assistance, which is great as it makes it a fun thing to do together while she is also getting time to learn and figure things out independently. We're very pleased with this subscription.

We love our green kids box and I'm so happy to provide a review of this box. We received the Junior "little kid" nocturnal animals box and there were so many different kits in our box and also ideas for extending the play. The kids' favorite projects in the box was the glow in the dark make your own stuffed owl kit and the glowing lantern kit. My son took the owl to bed last night and the lantern is sitting on the my other child's bedside table :) I do wish we knew what box we'd get each month but from the looks of past boxes they are all pretty great so this is a minor thing.

We spent our first day of summer vacation trying out the Green Kid Crafts box. We got the Junior Endangered Animals box that included two art projects and two science experiments. I did this with my two older kids (ages 5 and 6). I was very happy that there were enough art supplies for both kids. This was not advertised, but a very nice surprise. Overall, we thought this was a great STEAM subscription box with a big focus on art. The name can be a bit misleading because it says “crafts” but is so much more than that!
