Q: What is the expiry of these products? How long do they last once ordered and received?Asked by Rishika K., April 2021
This will depend on the product. Some products we send never expire such as wood chips and accessories. The rubs and sauces generally have different expiration dates depending on bottle type (plastic, glass) and product type (hot sauce, bbq sauce, rub, etc). However I would say generally we get new batches made for our boxes and we would have the maximum amount of time before expiration (many months) that the vendor can offer with some exceptions.
Q: Is this useful for someone who only grills but doesn’t smoke foods? My husband is an avid griller on our gas grill, but we don’t have a smoker. Will half the products be useless?Asked by Katie C., July 2020
Our products can be used for both grilling and smoking. We send BBQ sauces, steak rubs, wing sauces, hot sauces, brisket rubs, and stuff you wouldn't even expect. On top of this we do recipes from burgers to meatloaf to brisket to pulled pork. There is a little bit for everyone there and if he grills consistently and does so with more then hotdogs, I think he will love it.

While I have been unable to use the products as if yet. I have tasted them. Very good. We plans to try 2 if the recipes included this next week. All the recipes included look great. The heat gloves were something I really needed.
These boxes are GREAT, but the shipping is something to be desired. I ordered one CrateJoy for each of my parents on a 3 month subscription for Christmas. My mom's CrateJoy boxes arrive in a timely manner, but my father's (Grill Master) is very slow in shipping. I receive the shipment notice and it sits "In Transit" for over 2 weeks. I don't think the shipping partner that Grill Master uses is very reliable. Maybe something to consider moving forward. I'd be willing to pay a bit extra for reliable shipment of the subscription.
The curation of the boxes and recipes are great, though!

I ordered this...it "got lost in shipping". I contacted the seller...NO RESPONSE. I contacted Crate Joy...they said it should be arriving late...and closed the ticket....3 weeks later...still no product. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

If zero stars was an option that’s what I would have given. I ordered this box as a Fathers Day gift. After 2 months I thought it was strange it hadn’t shipped. I contacted CrateJoy and they had me contact the seller, which I did. I was told it hadn’t shipped yet. Just last week, 5 months later, I finally received an email that my money had been refunded. What a disappointment!

We emailed you on June 27th, June 28th, July 8th, August 16th, and October 12th to try to ascertain the correct shipping address, but we didn't get a reply. On November 2nd, we refunded your purchase.

On the Rocks bourbon/ blood orange pepper is fantastic ….. dry marinated steak and chicken with it …. seared on a hot grill they were first class !!!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a 3 month subscription. The box never arrived, and I wrote FOUR emails to the customer service email listed on the website asking for help. I did not receive a response from them. Only after I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge did I hear anything from Grill Masters. I purchased this subscription as a gift, so this entire experience was embarrassing and frustrating
