Q: I have 3 children. Would I be able to use one box for all 3 children or would I have to order three subscriptions ?Asked by Mary H., July 2020
Hi Mary, I apologize that we haven't gotten back to you sooner. I just saw that we have this questions feature as part of Cratejoy. Yes, 1 box would work for all 3 children. We promote STEM teams and 1 box would work for up to 4 children. There is more about STEM Teams and the roles in a STEM team in our Beyond in a Box.
Please let us know if you have further questions and again, I apologize for not responding sooner.
Thank you,
Jen P.

I gave this to my grandson for his 9th birthday. He looked forward to getting it every month so I decided to continue to send it to him for the next year. Every month is something new and always a great way to spend an after op !
I ordered a 6 month subscription from Groovy Lab in a Box for my grandson's birthday in April '22. He received one box in May '22 and has not received another box since. I have followed all routes to contact them - several emails, texts and phone calls - and have not received one reply. I have ordered many crates/ boxes from other sellers for my grandchildren over the years and this is the first disappointment we have had. On top of the price of the subscription I also paid a huge amount for shipping to Canada so am out over $300 and my grandson has not had a birthday present!
Not very well thought out. No instructions on some items like the telescope (2 toilet paper rolls and a piece of plastic). Boring for an 11 year old. She said there was no point to the boxes, nothing substantial to show at the end like other competitor's boxes. Be careful, they automatically renew without an email. We won't be subscribing next school year.
Horrible box. A piece of tissue paper, straw, paper towel tube, balloon, piece of string, paper clip, battery, thumbtack and a few other misc. items.
Ridiculous waste of money!!!
Had some trouble with shipping but was dealt with quickly. Lots of fun!
I never received this item 😫 we had a big snowstorm and I was afraid it was under there, but the snow is melting now and it’s not here
My 9 year old really enjoyed his box and learning along with me. We had fun experimenting together!
I am very impressed with how well the box is organized and the mountain of support for the design challenges. They include everything needed to complete the box with nothing prefabricated so I am able to recreate at a later time. Definitely our favorite science box and we've tried them all.
I placed an order a little later than I expected. The customer service was very good and deliveries arrived in time. I absolutely love these boxes! I bought for my friends boys for Christmas too! Thank you for such an amazing product.
My son is so excited to get his box each month. This month he immediately opened it up to see what was inside. My son loves the experiments and it's great that he can do them himself. The It's Electric box is very impressive. He loved making the different types of circuits as well as seeing what he could stick the balloon too. These boxes are unlike other subscription boxes we have had because the lab notebook explains the design process with an engineering design challenge every month to invent something new. My son created the coolest dance pad with lights and sound. Fantastic!
