As of right now, we do not ship to Canada.
Q: My daughter is 9 and loves to draw and paint using videos from YouTube. Should I go ahead and purchase the more advanced box? She does well but hasn’t been formally taught by any means. Asked by Rebecca K., June 2020

My 8 year old son is very creative but with drawing he would have trouble figuring out where to start and how much space each element required, so would get frustrated. His first Guide Dots picture was the fox. He watched the video tutorials with joy, getting more excited as his picture came to life. It was lovely hearing him say "mom, I've got this" as he worked, and seeing how proud he was of his finished picture.

Another great discovery for Camp Cratejoy! I ordered this box after my daughter completed the unicorn drawing on Friday as part of Camp Cratejoy. The shipping was super fast, and the starter kit arrived on Monday. All of the art supplies are of very high quality, and the videos are easy to follow. My daughter completed one of the rolls from the level 2 kits this morning. She found them more challenging than the level 1 rolls, but she was very excited about how her artwork turned out.

Between school and swim team, carving out time for my six-year-old to create is not always easy. She loves to draw and color, but adding yet another activity to our plate wasn’t an option. Guide Dots is the solve we were looking for. My daughter is able to sit down with a roll and complete each project without any intervention from me. More importantly, she feels proud about what she’s made and eager to make another. Highly recommend this box to anyone who’s child is interested in art!

OK, so I've used this. I am not a child. I'm maybe 50 years or so away from the last time I was a child! Still, this thing is fun, and it's informative, educational too. It teaches you how to draw, makes drawing/creating both understandable and easy! It then teaches coloring/"painting" skills. Opens the door to a whole set of skills and creativity that provide not only fun, but a hobby as well. My grand-kids use it. They use it alone. We use it together. We use it over-and-over. We all enjoy it. Name one other thing you can say that about. Guide Dots is a winner. We're looking forward to receiving our next lesson box.
