Q: What comes in the mini? Don't see anything about it.Asked by Crystal Z., March 2020
Aloha! The Mini Box has 1-3 items of larger box featured for that season. You will have options to choose from when you make your order.
My mother's terrible dogs took the package off her porch and tore it up, eating the candy bar and chips, but she was still just absolutely THRILLED with the package: a gorgeous mask, a cool candle, a delicious soda, beautiful post cards (she's still looking for the magnet in her yard). She grew up on Oahu and came to the mainland as a teenager, and every lovely little piece of the box took her home again.
This was a great introduction to the Hawaiian box. It was an interesting blend eco-friendly and local items. My favorite by far is the shampoo bar. It smells beautiful! All of the items were useful.
I loved everything that was in the box

Our January 2021 Box is all about New Beginnings! The ancient Hawaiians who were voyagers that traveled by canoe, and one of the plants that they brought with them when they settled in a new place was kalo or taro. Kalo was essential for their survival and was considered the core of the Hawaiian culture. For January 2021, you’ll find some items surrounding a kalo or taro theme to signify a new beginning.
In Hawaiian, the Plumeria is called pua melia (POO-ah meh-LEE-yah) and is one of Hawai`i’s most iconic symbols. We also chose to feature Passion Fruit or liliko`i (li-LEE-koy-ee) flavors since it represents passion, kindness, and love--certainly fitting for the month that celebrates love. Enjoy the fresh pua melia scents and liliko`i flavors this February, and may it remind you of the love and Aloha you can find in Hawai`i.
This month, we wanted to feature our endangered Humpback Whales, or K oholā. Whale Season in Hawaii is from December to May. Every year, the whales migrate from Alaska to the warmer Hawaiian Islands to birth their young. In Hawaiian culture, their return is viewed more as a homecoming rather than a visit, and since they are born in Hawaiian waters, they are kama`aina (native born). Our March boxes are filled with items that will remind you of these gentle giants.
