Well, I've been working with these people for months now, and they have yet to figure it out that they still owe me basically 2 boxes that were never sent to me. The last box I got (that they charged me $50 for) was a bottle of toner, 2 sheet masks, and a box of cotton pads!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! And do t be fooled by the price they say it will be, because they'll always charge your card about $50...it's a total ripoff!!! I had high hopes for them too... Sad...
Hi Sheena, Sorry to hear you are disappointed. As emailed, your box was somehow broken into by the time you received it and missing some items. We promised to send the missing products in your next box. Our records show that we shipped you two boxes and the third is shipping this month, so it is strange that the other box didn't arrive. I have been following Ichiko Bento from the very beginning when I saw a sponsored ad on Facebook. As I was very curious about Asian Beauty, I signed up to the waiting list. The first box was amazing and I was very happy with the subsequent boxes. The long time between boxes in 2018 did kind of tick me of and the shipping to Ireland isn't the cheapest. Overall, very good contents including some cult products that I went on to buy full size and a good selection of brands that I otherwise wouldn't have heard of. It is a good introduction for beginners to Asian Beauty and teething problems are to be expected as they are a start up and not as big as Birchbox or Glossy Box.
Waited for the January 2018 box for months and when I finally got it a few weeks ago it was mostly samples. Thankfully I live in the Uk and didnt have to pay a ridiculous amount for shipping. Won't be ordering again.
I was initially very excited to place my order for this box despite there being negative reviews already.
I placed my order on 20th April, Payment was taken on 24th.
Contacted on 16th May to ask where my box was and I was told they were shipped on 17th May. It is now 1st June, still no box.... this is very disappointing.
Hopefully will receive the box I have paid for soon, but will not be subscribing again (even if the box turns out to be good, which now I am highly doubting... I will not ever buy again just on principal that customer service as been so poor)
I bought this for a Christmas present, but neither of the two boxes I ordered (and paid for) have arrived, five months later. Emailing hasn't got me anywhere. Very disappointed.
