I feel like it's Christmas morning every month when my Go Indie Now! box arrives! It's a great value, as these are often books I would have never found myself. Ashley has great taste. She often includes extra treats and handwritten notes, and the customer service is wonderful.
I love this subscription I got two books plus an idea for a book to buy. I loved the items for all my senses and can't wait for next month
I was so excited to receive this box, as I am a total book worm and because it offered to help you submerge yourself even more into the stories. I ordered the October 2016 bibliophile box ($30 subscription), which comes with 2 books and an item for every sense. The books seem good so far (just started the first one) and they both have great reviews on Amazon. The value of the physical books totals around $24 (Amazon kindle edition costs under $4 for both), so I feel like I did get my money's worth since I received physical copies, but the objects that came with it are really disappointing. The scent pack smelled okay, if strong, and it came with a crocheted pocket. The object that I received (which is supposed to be a book marker of some sort) is basically a single crocheted chain. I also received a piece of concept art of one of the characters which is pretty neat. The playlist isn't bad, but the recipe is basically a root beer float with gummy worms. I did like that they personalized the box with a card wishing me a happy Halloween and some candy, but everything just seemed so arts and crafts. I really wanted to love this box, and I feel that the curators put a lot of time and effort into creating it, but it just fell short of my expectations.
