Q: Are these boxes good value for money?Asked by Mary M., March 2020
Loved the products it's definitely worth the money.
I absolutely love everything in my 1st box. I was so impressed with how fast it got to me in Texas. Everything was centered around the theme of Love, perfect for Valentine's Day tomorrow.
These boxes ship the fastest of any parcel I have ever received! From Ireland to western canada in 2 business days - incredible courier service! Loved the December box totally- a big , big hit with me!
I unfortunately ended up subscribing and getting a James Joyce and Ulysses themed box, which is one of the few books I loathe. So sadly the nicely curated box is mostly going right to donation, which made me rather sad. I don’t have enough extra cash to chance another bomb like this, so had to cancel. The scone mix came broken open with flour in the box, so that was a loss too. While shipped promptly, it took way longer to arrive than another item I purchased a week later from England, so I’m not sure why the actual shipping was so slow.
I just received my St Patrick’s Day box, my first box, and I am over joyed at all the beautiful and thoughtful pieces! It was also very nice to see my letter with my name hand written on the outside of the envelope! Thank you! - Cross Posted from FB :)
For our “bosca Feabhra”, we were inspired by the way in which the Irish seamlessly intermingle Celtic mythology, Religious traditions, & contemporary culture to create truly special moments. Again, all of our selections, beautifully packaged were enjoyed by our our susbcribers – like a spring cleaning for the soul!
For our Eanáir (January) box, the first of 2020, we celebrated not only new beginnings, but our Irish heritage & culture - ancient & new. We celebrated our journey so far & the unknown journey ahead of us. We celebrated possibilities. We celebrated friendship, old & new. We celebrated all we hold dear. We celebrated life!
We love Christmas here at Irish at Heart, and in our first year we couldn’t possibly let this theme pass us by. A time for family & friends, for merriment & joy, for peace & goodwill. Of course, Christmas is celebrated across the globe, & each culture has their own traditions to cherish & enjoy. We invited our subscribers to celebrate the holiday season with a box full of Christmas magic.
There’s no place like home, and there’s no home quite like Granny’s Cottage. Our November theme is all about our favourite comforts; a pot of soup on the stove, wrapping yourself in a handmade blanket, and settling down by the fire with family and friends.
Halloween first originated from the festival of Samhain (pronounced 'Sow-in') so we thought it was only right to make it the theme of our October box! The Samhain Festival marked the end of summer and the beginning of winter. Many of the traditions from then still remain today. We invited our customers to revel in the sights, scents and tastes of Samhain.
