I love the lip balm brand, it is a good quality balm. As for the subscription my 1st month package I got one flavor/scent that I wasn't a fan of and in my second package I got the same one just in slightly different labeling. Shipping took about a week from when it was sent out.

The first time I tried a Jersey Shore lip balm was when I received one with my Ipsy bag. It was watermelon and I loved it so much that I wanted to try more. The lip balms are pricey if you purchase them individually from the Jersey Shore Cosmetics website, so I was excited to see that they offered a discounted rate on Crate Joy. So far I've received two monthly boxes, each box contained two full-sized lip balms. All the scents are amazing! The Moisture Rich Hydrating balm is my favorite and it really does make my lips feel hydrated! However, for some reason the Vegan balms make my lips feel waxy and more dry, and I threw the first one away. I will probably get a couple more boxes and then cancel my subscription because I really don't need more lip balms. Overall fun box, worth a try!

I love Jersey Shore Cosmetics lip balms so much that I got a monthly subscription. If I can’t use them, they will make great gifts for friends and family. My only criticism is the shipping. The package gets shipped from New Jersey to Western Canada. For some reason, USPS sent the shipment down to Miami instead of sending it straight north to Toronto or Montreal. It probably added an extra week to the delivery. I know that Jersey Shore & Cratejoy can’t control the delivery route. This is just a warning for anyone who lives in Western Canada or maybe the Pacific NorthWest.

For many many years, I used Chap-Stick, at least once per day. It was very difficult to apply and I was never a fan. About 5 years ago, I found Neutrogena's lip balm and it was better, easier to apply, not as waxy. Still, wasn't a great moisturizer.
I received a sample of the Jersey Shore Cosmetics Lemonade lip balm and it was by far the best lip balm I had ever used, well until I tried their Wintergreen Vegan lip balm. I have since ordered 6 different lip balms and they are all fantastic.
I don't give out 5 star reviews often, but I would give this 6 stars if I could.

I was hoping to get more of a variety of balms and not the same as previous shipments. It would also be nice if we could somewhat customize them. For example NO Floral Scents. Plus I know of a few other members of this crate and they get FIVE balms in every package (one bonus gift a month) and I have only every gotten FOUR in mine and only three in my last one. I have never gotten a bonus item in any of my shipments. I am also missing my December shipment completely. I am awaiting response to my email and will update my review depending on what they say. I will say I am addicted to the Green Tea Balm though and wish I could get more of just it. *edited with update* never heard back from JSC so I messaged Cratejoy and they won’t do anything to help either. I will never deal with this company again.

I'm subscribed to the 4 balms pack and it's a great deal; every month I get two to three regular lip balms and then one specialty balm, such as a tinted or a highlighter balm. They've also included a bonus item, such as hand sanitizer or a Mother's Day necklace.
The quality is great. I'm picky about what balms I use and these balms are smooth, lightweight, and nourishing. Plus the scents are fantastic. I haven't used any of the tinted ones yet, but I'm sure they'll be as good as the regular ones.

I love this subscription box! I just wish there was a way to edit the frequency, as my lip balm supply is getting a little out of hand! These are the smoothest lip balms out there. They also don’t leave that weird gunk on your lips that collects around chapped areas. I used to stick with Burts Bees but these are so much nicer. I love the quality of products and natural ingredients. Hoping to never use any lip balms but these ever again!
