Emailed them twice about my December box, a month later, no word, no box. The November box was pretty awesome, so that sucks.
I am so sorry about how we've disappointed you. I looked for emails from you, and I couldn't find any. We also sent out an update about the box so I wasn't sure what happened. In our customer manager, Intercom, I searched for your name, but it didn't come up. I'm not sure if purchasing through the Marketplace prevents us from getting your info, but we would never intentionally let an email go unanswered. I'll follow up with Cratejoy to ask if you write within the Marketplace, where do the emails go.
I've refunded you for the box but we will still get your box out to you next week.
I apologize again, and I really appreciate your taking the time to tell us your issues and...
I've been a customer of Mama Bird Box since they first launched, when I was pregnant with my first baby. It was such a treat receiving my first box, and everything in it was either thoughtfully practical or perfectly indulgent. I still have the beautiful ceramic dish from my box, and I use it daily as a tray for matches after lighting candles.
I've also given more Mama Bird Boxes more times than I can count. It's the perfect gift to encourage a mom-to-be and to spoil THEM as opposed to just prepping for baby. My favorite experience was buying a subscription for my friend who lives in France. She was far away from family and going through all the phases of pregnancy alone, and her Mama Bird Boxes always came just at the right time. She emphasized to me how perfect each box was, and how it contained just what she needed. Often they were items she couldn't have ever found in the French countryside.
All that to say, I can't stress enough how great of a gift these boxes are! You never know how they will touch someone's day or positively impact their experience of pregnancy.
Sorry, I really wanted to like the Mama Bird Box, but in my honest opinion each of my three boxes came with random things I don't use. It wasn't worth the $35 per box. Boxes come with a lot of cards with a message on it which I didn't really know what to do with. One box came with a clay jewelry dish that immediately broke. Then I got a wooden and silicone necklace and my baby hurt the roof of her mouth on a wooden bead and screamed. Then I got a some probiotics and a small bag of tealeaves and a ball made of felt. I bought three boxes and honestly, would rather have spent my money on something useful like diapers or toys.
I have ordered numerous Mama Bird Boxes for expectant family and friends. I love that it's focused on the mom-to-be, rather than being part of an endless stream of baby gear. The boxes are thoughtful, encouraging, and the products are unique and useful. The owner, Beth, has always been very helpful in responding to questions. Will continue to purchase these as gifts, as it's so easy and I've gotten nothing but positive feedback so far.
I loved receiving my Mama Bird Boxes. The products were great during pregnancy when I was wanting everything to be safe and natural. Many I still use after my baby was born I like them so much.
I received one of these boxes during my pregnancy and loved each item. I even used the items to put in my hospital travel bag. I love the organic, natural ingredients. As an expecting mother, it gave me piece of mind that the items were good for my skin and my baby. The value of full size products is exceptional! I recommend it to expecting mothers, all the time.
