I always look forward to receiving my Attic Box. Each month, the box is thoughtful and goes along with the theme. The state of the books is also a huge amount better than I was expecting them to be. There are some books that I've received that I couldn't even tell were used because they were in such good condition. In addition, Candice and Jeremy are very nice and helpful. Candice got back to me really quickly and solved a purchasing issue I had. I definitely would recommend this box; the box itself and the people in charge of it are great!

I really dis love everything about this. If I had to pick a favorite thing though, it would be that the books are wrapped in really pretty newspaper type bags (not sure how to describe it) you're already surprised when the box arrives because you have no clue whats in there, and then your books are wrapped too! Double surprise!

I've received a couple of boxes now. I adore it! It's like having a used book store deliver awesome books with fabulous goodies! What's better then tea or coffee and a great read? My first Attic Box was awesome. The theme for March was pirates, which who doesn't love a pirate theme? The items were chosen with care and love and digging into the box was super fun. I love used books of many different genres. Not knowing which books you're going to get or what genre just adds to the fun. Three books that I've never read but they all seem interesting. The box I subscribe comes with three books and a couple of bookish items. I loved my first box, which was a February box and was Valentine's themed.
My second box came with fancy tea! The container arrived open but I just sent a message on facebook and the next week a new sample of tea arrived. So if you have any problems, they will make it right.
Upshot: Go ahead and subscribe to this box! You won't regret it.
And if you think three books might be too much, it's ok. You can always skip the following month.

This is my first of the three month subscription I signed up for. I opted for the basic package, which comes with two books, and both a coffee and tea sample. My only beef is with one of the books I received, which is the second book in a series I have never read. So, to enjoy it, I have to find and read the first book in the series. I just received my EIGHTH Attic box, and I can honestly say I love this subscription more each month. I've tried several other book boxes, but always found a reason to stop...usually because I wasn't reading the books I received for one reason or another. Not so with these Attic boxes! The books are used, always in stellar condition, smell great, and are things I'm eager to read, every time.
And although the books themselves are definitely the highlight of the box, the extra goodies included add a sweetness to the experience that I really enjoy but find hard to explain. They're...happy. The coffee, the bookmarks, the trinkets and magnets and hand-beaded book spiders...they have a kind of whimsy to them. I absolutely love this subscription and can't recommend it highly enough.
Also I think the proprietors might be psychic because their book picks are crazy accurate for my taste.

I got the February Heart of Winter box. I was really excited about getting three books, all personally selected for me. The price is definitely right for the amount included. The magnetic bookmarks and heart shaped paperclips were adorable and of very good quality. The coaster and the little candies seemed like cheap additions, but that's not a big deal. Everything was wrapped very nicely and the packaging was cute. And great coffee!! I was however a little disappointed by the book selections... they aren't bad books, but they are not what I was hoping for. Not sure if this was my mistake filling out the survey or if the curators just made mediocre choices, but I wasn't impressed. Only 1 out of the 3 books felt like the genre I asked for... the other two were kindof random in my opinion. Not sure if I will give it another try or not.
