Initially, this order took a long time to send. You get an email after ordering to select your items. This email went to spam so I was waiting for a box, but they didn't know what items to send. After 3 weeks they would have picked and sent their best guess of wanted items. I will update this review once I receive the box.

I signed up for this and a few other boxes as a present to myself as a RN working ICU during Covid. I eventually cancelled all the others but not this one. I still get happy to see my Modern Skyn box arrive. I've even taken advantage of sales to stock up on extras of my favorites. I've done the customized box but it's thanks to past "surprise" ones that I discovered I loved some products I would never have thought to try (looking at you, rose everything...never thought I'd go so hard for any floral scent much less rose!).

You can tell this line puts a lot of care and pride in their brand. Initially I wasn't sure but after my first box, I was impressed and excited for more. Sadly I believe the shipping and fulfillment is done separately as there was a long delay and I had to follow up with the shipment. My second box was also lost and when it was finally sent, it was a duplicate. I hope it outgrows these trivial speed bumps and does awesome in the future! Love the product presentation, organic quality, and bottle sizes were bigger than expected.

I wish I could give -5 stars to company! I subscribed in April 2022 for quaterly box. My money was taken and I never received anything. I contacted them in June to find out where is my box and they sent me products to choose to my box. I made my choises and ….. nothing happened. They successfully billed me in July and I still never got anything! They rip up people! I paid almost $100 for two boxes and did not receive anything! Be aware when you secide to subscribe.

I reached out to them via email, no response. I reached out to crate Joy, no response. I called modern's phone number and all I ever got was a voicemail. Again, no return message. I then received the second charge for a second box several months later, which I never ordered. Again, attempted to contact everyone. No response. Was able to consist it with my credit card, but was not able to contest the original charge as it is outside the window. Lesson learned, I'm out $85.
