This is a project bag. I’d rather send more fabric and notions than have everything fit inside a box. Boxes cost a lot of money.

Thank you for a nice question. Honestly, is there a quilt shop close to her that is doing a simple block of the month. That’s we’re I learned to quilt. They give you the basics. I wouldn’t love to teach you but this kit/boxes has some very simple items and some a little more challenging? My heart is always with the quilter. I want them to learn and afford reasonable materials. My joy comes when I see those projects they make and see the pride in the sewers eyes.

I have been sewing for many years, but just began quilting 3 years ago. I learned everything I needed from quilting books and videos. If your mom does not sew, I recommend UTUBE videos on quilting and National Quilters Circle. I have my favorites, like Angela Walters and Donna Jordan instructions - simple to follow and have lots of free patterns., but there are many informational videos.

I thought these fabrics were supposed to be complimentary in color or pattern so I could make a quilt. These fabrics are just random. Not satisfied and a waste of money

I received a full-sized book, but applique, which I don't do, eight fat quarters, fabric and pattern for decorating a kitchen towel, a pattern for a heart table topper, two pairs of scissors, a card, and pin, and a snowman cookie cutter. Overall, this was a very nice package. I love the flannel pattern that was included. It is for one block only butI can see how I can use it even without the other patterns. I am new to quilting but have been sewing for years. The package included fabric clips - my first set! My only disappointment was that the package did not include a box. However, I received an ample amount of fat quarters to make up for it.
