Q: What ages and skill level is this best for?? Does it account for children & parents that can not yet read music?Asked by Molly J., March 2020
This is ideal for ages 2-6. There are recordings and videos and TONS of support so parents can have musical experiences with their kids without knowing music themselves. There's also an incredible private facebook group that gives TONS of support and ideas.
I have nieces who LOVED this box! We got the December box that was full of quality items you wouldn't think would be found for the price!
I was shocked by all of the activities and how much effort the owner Emilie has put into the box! She has made sure there is an easy way to get to songs and videos that she has of herself teaching you how to do the activities with your kiddos!
I will continue to come back and buy boxes and I highly recommend it to parents who are looking for a monthly activity that will keep your kid's learning and occupied for hours!
Thank you Music Adventure Box for such an amazing product!
This is an excellent subscription choice! The activities are amazing, fun, and easy for parents. I am a musician, and it was great to have the sheet music provided. The music activities are well-crafted and age appropriate. This box is a fantastic way to get some music time with your family. We enjoyed the videos, songs, and the creativity that was put into the box. There is a great facebook support group, too. Overall, a wonderful choice for introducing or continuing music education in your family.
Our December box is all about jingle bells! We use our jingle bells for our lapgame, our book, and games around the house. We have a Jingle Bells book with beautiful bells chiming the song. We learn about Tchaikovsky writing The Nutcracker and we play with his music in the most energetic way! We also include a craft so you can make puppets to play with our Christmas folk song. Cuddle up with your little one, a nice warm blanket, and some sweet songs and games this month!
This month we learn about George Bizet and play with balloons to one of his famous compositions! We have paper dolls with clothes they can sing all about. We have the Ten on the Sled book. And we have lots of jumping and laughing to Jack Be Nimble. Such a great box for January!
Our February box is all about puppies and cats. :) Our composition of the month has them playing with stuffed dogs and cats while they listen. The lapmat is finding the doggie's bone behind some really cute animals. We have a sweet Valentine craft and song activity for families to play together. And we also sing about Our Favorite Things in our book this month. We LOVE this box!!
