The vast majority of MyBean coffees are organic and grown without chemical pesticides and artificial fertilizers. 100% of the beans are ethically sourced. This means farmers are paid fairly and use farming methods that keep the soil healthy and protect wildlife.
Origin info on each coffee is included in the box.

For the monthly subscription you will be charged for the 1st box upon order. Then monthly on the 11th of each month. For example, if you placed an order on December 3rd, your card will be charged upon purchase for the 1st box then on January 11th, February 11th.....You may cancel at any time.
For the 3 and 6 month options, your card will be charged upon purchase for 3 or 6 monthly boxes. You may choose auto-renew or a 1-time option which is great for gifts that you don't want to auto renew.

I purchased a 3 month subscription and had it addressed my bf, Matthew, as a surprise for his birthday in February. His first box had coffee from Ethiopia and Kenya. He loved them both but Ethiopia was his favorite.
The second box, Mocha Java and Brazilian, came wet and severely damaged by the postal service. When I reached out to Steven Massey, he offered exceptional customer service and IMMEDIATELY sent a replacement box. So far, he likes the Mocha Java but hasn’t started the Brazilian yet.
We just received his third box, including Peruvian and Nicaraguan, and he is excited to try those as well. I wouldn’t say he’s a coffee expert, but he is excited to try the different types and all have smelled delicious so far!
We were both thoroughly impressed with the customer service and loved that each bag was different. The amount in two bags was the perfect size to last for a month until the new shipment arrived. The first box ships within a few days of your order being placed and the following box ships at the beginning of the next month, exactly as stated in the details.

October's box featured an Indian Monsoon Malabar and a delicious Kenyan! The Monsoon Malabar is from a family owned farm in the southern coastal state of Karnataka, India. "Monsooning" occurs when the sundried green coffee is taken to Malabar City for the rainy monsoon months. Annual monsoon moisture causes the beans to expand acquiring a unique, mellow flavor with spicy, earthy, smoky notes with a medium body and medium acidity.

Our organic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is a fair trade coffee grown in Gedeo, Ethiopia & produced by the Konga Cooperative of family farms. The Nicaraguan in this box was grown in the volcanic loam of Jinotega, Nicaragua at altitudes up to 5,000 feet. These coffees are grown without pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or chemical herbicides.
