This was supposed to be a month to month Xmas gift for my mom. Ordered last November. The December box finally showed up in January. Then when my mom got nothing in January or February, I reached out twice with zero response from Seller. Took several emails to get Cratejoy to get involved and they finally let me know Seller turned off my auto month to month renewal with no reason or notice. Totally disgusted with entire setup. Very disappointing for my mom as she actually loved her box and we would have continued indefinitely if not for the dismal customer service. Not even sure MyBookBox is still in business considering their page still has their December message up.

Have absolutely loved this box for years. But the fact that Jessica Tresp and Chelsea Green can ignore emails from devoted subscribers about the status of their subscription is criminal. Be honest and let us know that you are out of business, took our money and ran and obviously have no remorse. WHATEVER you do, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE. They have not sent boxes out since last year.

I thought I would try this book box out. I subscribe to several and there are several I've cancelled after trying a few, but I think this is one I will keep! I love that they let you choose two different types of books, even children books! (I don't have children, myself, but if I did - I'd choose the 2nd book for them.) It doesn't come with a lot of gifts, but the one I got was something I used for sure! (It was FOOD!! - Candy to be specific - can't go wrong with that!) I also use the book bag they sent. It is sturdy and love the saying on the side. :) I ordered a "gift" box for my nieces and nephews, since the two children book age options fit them perfectly and looking at the past books - they all look good! I was also excited that one of the books I got was actually signed by the author! I, for sure, recommend this box.

Let’s be honest - you may not absolutely love every single book picked out for you by a book club - it’s impossible - (we of course don’t always love every book we pick out for ourselves when we go to the bookstore or shop on Amazon, etc. either) but this one is pretty close. I opened my box today and I was so happy with the book choices. Also, the face mask included is adorable. There are quite a few book subscriptions out there and I would say this is definitely one of the very best!
