Q: I received my first bag but there was no insert with a link to the look for that month as the description said there would be. Am I missing something? The only blog I can find doesn’t list December. Asked by Andria J., January 2021
Hi, Andria! I'm so sorry your bag did not include the insert!! I will send you an email with an image of the insert so you have a copy. I can't insert the link here, but if you place "blog." at the beginning of our NME Box website, you'll be taken to all our tutorials. The posts for the most recent shipments are normally at the top of the blog, but you'll find many other tutorials you can use your products to complete!
Q: I ordered box at the beginning of Dec. bc it said the 1st box would ship 10 days. Perfect because daughter's bday was the 19th. I never rec'd a box for her. Now 3 days b4 xmas, nothing. Will it come?Asked by Erica L., December 2020

Unfortunately, shipping and receiving delays have been prevalent during the pandemic, and it's been extremely difficult to pin down exact delivery dates. Hi there! She won't get to pick a theme. Every month is a surprise theme, and every box includes a unique cosplay look. When you sign up for a multi-month subscription, you receive our Welcome Box as your first box. You receive everything you'd get in a normal box (wig, makeup, etc.), but this box is special, as it includes items to start building a basic sfx kit. This box also includes a creative prompt to create your first look. Each consecutive box is a new theme with new products and tools to add to your kit! (Single month orders do not receive a Welcome Box, but will receive that month's theme.)
Q: When is my subscription billed?Asked by Christine S., September 2020
Subscriptions are billed on the 11th of each month. This gives you the first 10 days of the month to decide if you would like to remain a subscriber. You are sent a reminder prior to being billed with the option to opt out, and you are able to make changes to your account at any time throughout the month.

Assured on the website that boxes ordered by Dec 15th would be mailed before Christmas. Messaged the seller and only received a very generic, “copy-paste” reply. I’ve messaged REPEATEDLY for specifics on my order but have not heard back. So far I’m having a terrible experience with this seller. If the items aren’t amazing, I wasted both time and money ordering. This feels like a scam and it ruined my daughters Christmas.

I’m so disappointed in this box. The quality of items is terrible, and not even near the $70 paid for it. A single makeup sponge, a generic black eyeliner pencil, cheap lashes, a cheap paintbrush set, and a purple bow barrette that looked like it came from a package. Neutrogena makeup wipes and coty airspun that combined wouldn’t have cost me $10 at Walmart. My daughter was so excited for this box. I was expecting her to pull out a wig, and at this price point, she should have received entire packages of makeup sponges and bows. Cancelling.

I absolutely loved this service! I had tried a few different sfx makeup services as an aspiring artist and NME box was truly the best I could find. Customer service was always prompt and quick. The box had full sized products and comes ready to make a complete special effects look, with enough product left over to use over and over on many other personal projects.
