- IMPORTANT: We just want everyone to consider this before subscribing to our subscription box. Since we save these used books in high quantities of approximately 50K to 100K it is hard for us to fully catalog each book by title. So that is the reason why we catalog by category. If you have a specific preference to a certain type of book, then this may not be the right subscription for you. We can guarantee you that you will receive a book that fits into the category you have chosen and is in a condition that you will be satisfied with. However, we cannot account for the year the book is published, how old the topic is, how you may not like the cover of the book, how you may not like the title of the book, and how you may not like the story of the book because of specific preferences to what is said in the book. We try our absolute best to provide the best book we possibly can to our subscribers. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to each subscribers’ specific likes because we have a lot of them. Therefore, we can keep the cost very low on our subscription box. We hope you can understand this, and we thank you and appreciate you for subscribing with us or considering us!
- Packaging: For bigger orders a simple carboard box will be used. Included inside will be a bookmark. Smaller orders will be inside a bubble mailer with a bookmark also included. Why is it simple and nothing fancy? To keep our prices as low as possible this is the solution we came up with. To have custom packaging and inserts the cost will be driven up exponentially. We try our best to give you the best experience as possible. Possibly if we find a packaging supplier that will not ramp up our costs we will definitely take that chance and get more eye catching packaging.
- We love the environment and want to keep books out of landfill! So we have partnered up with dozens of libraries to make sure we get these books back into the community. Therefore, most books might have library labels on it. But we guarantee that each book that you are given is going to be in amazing condition..

I really love the idea of getting used library books, giving them a good home. The subscription was for my son though I trying to get him excited to read. However these selections were definan definitely not for him. The type of book was good, basic picture books good for beginners. But the curation the selections were not to his taste. They we're almost a barn yard theme, where as he is until super heros, ninjas, comedy and gaming related. I was just a little disappointed bc he was super excited too receivethe box on his name- and even realizing that the surprise was books- but his face fell a bit when he sorted thru them. He stuck to books from our home library for his independent reading time.
If you were able to individualize singe boxes or use a theme style box geared toward their interests I would purchase another subscription.
The shipping was fast easy the box arrived immediately. I was just hoping for titles that would excite a 7yr old boy.

Very old and non classic children’s book

I did attempt to first contact the seller over a week ago without a response. Every book was very old and not a single one my son would read :( I wasn’t expecting the latest and greatest but there were no classics and nothing newer than 10+ years old, possibly 20. Very disappointing

We try our best to get all the newer books to our customers but processing through 50K-100K a month its hard to keep track of all the old and new books.
