Quick delivery and so much stuff!

Received my first ever owlcrate and was not disappointed! It came one day after I got my tracking number. I loved how quickly it reached my door step. I also loved how everything was packaged so there was minimal damage that could happen. Onto the actual contents... I was so excited to open every thing up and after getting into the box, I realized there was so much in it! I got a wonderful new book with a cover only subscribers receive, a mug from one of my favorite series, two bookmarks from one of my fave childhood books, an art print from a highly popular movie, a pin from the theme of the month, tea!!!, a well made candle, and an adorable poster. When I opened the book's packaging, there was also a note from the author, her signature, and a packet of flower seeds! It felt so personal and well thought out. I'm impatiently waiting for the next box this month! It was well worth the money!
Not Appropriate

Owlcrate needs a more in depth product description. In this month's book- an entire family of females who live in a whimsical forest, falls in love with the same female. This story line is too complex and frankly unrealistic (the entire family falls for the same chic???) for a young mind to sift through. This is adult fantasy, pure and simple. Unfortunately, I can't renew my subscription after this. The box concept is great, the indocrination is not.

Hi Tiffaney, Thank you for the feedback, and we're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy this month's book selection. We found that because the women in this family suffer from a curse causing the men they love to disappear, that it would be realistic that the girls would gain feelings for another female peer, since this would hopefully fall outside the realm of the curse. But the story is about so much more than the relationship between the family and this girl; that's really only one small element. Overall it is a story about the different generations of women in this family and painful secrets in the past. The publisher recommends ages 14 and up for this book. We're sorry that you didn't connect with the book, but we're grateful that you gave OwlCrate a try, and we hope you enjoyed all of the other items in the box. Thank you!
Greatest Book Subscription Ever

I love OwlCrate more than words can say, it makes me so happy! I originally was only going to do it for one month, but I'm on month five now and it just keeps getting better! Every box comes with such a great book and wonderful, magical items to go with it and each month when I find out what the theme is for the following month, I know I have to keep my subscription going and I have not been disappointed! I am so glad this exists. I highly recommend you give it a try!
About OwlCrate

In November 2014, Korrina and Robert set out to create a project that would bring readers around the world together. After a few months of planning and researching, their dream became reality, and the 'Magical Monthly Reads' concept was born.

OwlCrate officially launched in February 2015 with incredible support from the Young Adult book community. In the course of just six months, OwlCrate’s outgrew their basement suite and had to find a new packing facility. By the end of 2015, Korrina and Robert quit their day jobs so they could dedicate themselves entirely to OwlCrate.

With OwlCrate’s rapid growth came a whole new set of adventures and opportunities in 2016, ranging from attending YallWest (Santa Monica, CA) to BEA/BookCon (Chicago, IL) to the Texas Teen Book Festival (Austin, TX).

With 2017 underway, Korrina and Robert are brimming with ideas for the future of OwlCrate and cannot wait to share them with their subscribers!
