Hi Rachel. Yes, we do include books featuring children of East Asian and South Asian backgrounds. For example, this month, Meenal Patel's Priya Dreams of Marigolds and Masala is going out to our 5-6 year old members. Priya is Indian-American. Jasmine Toguchi, Mochi Queen by Debbi Michiko Florence is going out to our 7-9 year old members. Jasmine is Japanese-American.
