I really like this box for many reasons. First, it does not come with the fresh ingredients which I prefer because then I don't have to make all the recipes immediately. Second, because the fresh ingredients are not included, I can make substitutions to fit my family's preferences. I really despise green beans but since the box doesn't actually include the beans, I can substitute brussel sprouts in the recipe instead of being stuck with something I will never eat. Third, I love that each recipe/meal comes packaged all together in a zip-locked bag so it's easy to store in the pantry and just pull out the whole bag when ready to make a meal. Lastly, the recipes are easy to follow and do not require too much prep time. Both are important to me as a busy mom who is okay with cooking, but does not love cooking.
I am working my way through my first box, everything has been delicious so far! The recipes are unique yet easy to prepare....all you have to do is purchase the fresh ingredients. Each recipe makes a generous portion. I'm a fan!
I like grocery shopping. It gives me something to do with my kids, and I prefer to pick my own meat and produce. It's one of the reasons why I didn't enjoy other full-ingredient delivery services. What I hate doing is meal planning. I often don't have time to sift through new recipes and creating grocery lists so that we don't end up in a rut of eating the same things over and over again.

I tried the chili-citrus pork with potatoes with "the butter." Included in my package were nicely packaged packets of the pork spice rub and the "the butter" spice mixture and a premeasured container of honey. My kids (four and two) loved it. My husband liked both the meal and the fact that it required few dishes, so less for him to clean up. I also liked that there were a couple of suggestions on how to prepare the potatoes.
Overall, a great service that takes one thing off my ever-growing to-do list!
What I love best about simple suppers is the fact that I don’t have to think abou it. Everything comes pre-measured easy directions to follow all I have to do is go to the grocery store and pick up my fresh items. I can make a tasty healthy dinner for my grandchildren under 30 minutes 😀❤️
The recipes were tasty and the box came with everything needed except for meats and veggies. The instructions could be a little better structured, but were easy enough to follow. I enjoyed the box, but prefer a subscription with customization options.
