I bought this on a whim. The products included are presumably of high quality. I have had it only one day so far, so it remains to be seen whether my sole experience extends to the entire box, but I'm optimistic. I do wish some instructions on how to fill the torch, and how to use the cutter, had been included. This is probably understood, but for a novice like myself - who never does this - it left me scratching my head until I sought help.
I'm also concerned about the grand tour of the US that the box took before reaching me. It started in Florida, then went to California, and THEN at my home in Illinois. Seems like a lot of unnecessary travel.
Still, highly satisfied and would buy again.

I wanted to get on here and say a few things about this box. I have had it for almost a year now a few things I notice.
When there is a problem with packaging or suppliers they quickly fix it at no cost to you.
They always have a nice variety and it’s current with cigars that are both new to the market and great tasting.

I gave this to my husband for his birthday. He enjoyed every one of the cigars. They were all amazing quality and they came nicely packaged. However….. I would not recommend this for international buyers. We live in Canada and each box took over a month to get here. The bigger issue was the duties that we were charged - anywhere from $66-$98 per month in duties were added on. I think this is a great gift left to only US buyers- not quite worthwhile for Canadians and maybe not warned enough when buying either.

I started a subscription with Southern Cigar Co. about a year ago and plan to keep it going for the foreseeable future.
I'm no expert with cigars, but I know what I like. And, while I enjoy going to my local shop, I find that the selection from SCC is almost always better at picking a variety of cigars that I enjoy than I am going on my own.
The only downside was moving and having to update my address on their site, which wouldn't allow for it after a number of tries. While my original email to them went unanswered and my mail forwarding had to pick up the slack, when it happened again the next month, the owners were quick to respond and reroute my package.
While I've tried a number of subscription boxes, this is one of only two that I've kept and I'm glad to hear that they'll be expanding their services to allow for expanded ordering options in the future.
