Q: How do I know when my box will ship? I did not see an option to set a time to ship. Asked by Rina S., April 2020
Thank you for your question!
We offer two shipping options for the first SpiceBreeze: (1) 'next week' (your menu might be different from the current box) or (2) the regular shipping 'next month'. This can be selected during your order before the checkout page.

Thanks so much for your question! Yes, of course, you can change the shipping address at any time in your account. All changes made by the end of a month will be applied to the shipping in the following month.

Q: Are they individual spices or are they all spice blends? If they are spice blends does is say what are the individual spices in the blend areAsked by Andrew C., March 2020
Thank you for your question. The spice kits consist of spice blends or individual spices, depending on the recipe. The ingredients are listed on the matching recipe card.

I love how simple it is to try new things, and I am a student who used to live on toast and pasta. Had to go back to order more of a few packs. Recommended for amateurs or more skilled cooks alike.
I got this subscription box for my dad for Christmas last year. It's been one of the best gifts I've ever gotten anyone! The shipments always arrive on time and we get so excited. We actually smell the envelope and try to guess which spices might be included. It's been really fun to make these meals together. Being able to spend time together is better than any gift :)
My shipment didnt arrive when it was supposed to. I reached out to thier customer service and they responded very quickly, plus were super friendly and helpful. They sent me a new shipment which arrived a few days later and I was extremely happy! I dont blame them for the shipping problems but I definitely commend them for how quickly they resolved the issue. I had cancelled this subscription but after seeing how wonderful thier customer service is and amazing thier product is I will be reactivating. I cant wait to see what else they send my way.
I have made 4 items so far and they have all been wonderful. I will be ordering 2 of the spices so far - The Larb was exceptional and so very fast! I had everything else I needed in my fridge and pantry. I also sent a subscription to my daughter and to a friend and they have enjoyed it.
I gave this subscription to my sister as a gift and she has loved it. She loves to cook and it has introduced her to new spices and new cuisines!
Really fun and interesting recipes. They are well written, easy to follow and come out delicious every time. I also love the cultural information on the back of every card. The subscription is worth it for that alone.
I really enjoyed this box. I liked the variety of spices and the accessibility of the recipes. Customer service is also an A+! I contacted them twice and had prompt, polite replies that satisfied me as a customer. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try something new.
A great spice and recipe subscription, an excellent source of inspiration for amazing meals. Best lesson from this subscription is that the right spices can really turn a routine meal into something fantastic and unique.
I love my SpiceBreeze subscription so much. I have gotten to try some really unique dishes that I never would have known about without it. I chose to subscribe because I like trying new things and it was affordable, and I will definitely keep subscribing.
This month included a dish called Kari Koko that is the best curry I've ever made. I like this subscription because the spices just make a single serving and I don't have a bunch of excess taking up space in my cupboard, but it is sad when you really love something and can't make it again. I e-mailed SpiceBreeze and they actually added it to their store that day! I had previously contacted them when I had a shipment that didn't arrive (new mailman misdelivers a lot) and they got back to me so quickly and reshipped right away. The great customer service makes a big difference.
Gave as a Xmas gift to my son and daughter in law and after 5 boxes they are still raving. They love the different fresh spices and particularly the recipes (which they send on to me.) As struggling grad students they appreciate the convenience and the novelty of someone else coming up with the answer to that perennial question “what’s for dinner.” The exposure to different food cultures from around the world has been really fun. Thanks for a great product.
Travel with the new SpiceBreeze winter menu from Europe to South America, Asia, and Africa. The choice is up to you. In December, we recommend a dish from a small Caribbean island that you might have never heard about. Originally, the shell of a gigantic Edam or Gouda cheese was filled with leftovers. In the modern version, an aromatic fresh filling is topped with plenty of cheese. The filling is also delicious as a sauce for pasta or pizza.
In November, you can choose from a menu that includes Moroccan tagine with cherry-sized koefte and classic stews from India and Russia. Or go for an Asian soup. Providing warming comfort food from around the world for the holiday season is our priority.
In October, our menu starts in South Africa with a creamy meat pie that balances a sweet-sour-spicy flavor. Another seasonal highlight is a South American casserole topped with corn blended with fresh basil leaves and caramelized in the oven.
Select shipping 'next week' at the checkout for this menu: (1) Ochazuke is a light one-bowl dish with rice submerged in green tea, hot or cold. It's wonderfully juicy and refreshing. Of course, we have a non-tea option. Sprinkle Furikake sesame-roasted-seaweed seasoning on top or on any dish where you want to add an Asian flavor note. (2) For 'shepherd style' tacos, the meat is marinated in a traditional adobo-paste and topped with pineapple or another tropical fruit.
The April recipes are extremely versatile. They can be perfectly adapted to your taste preferences and availability of ingredients. (1) Assemble delicious toppings on a base of rice. Drizzle with a sauce made with our blend from red miso and Shiitake mushrooms. Bonus: Learn to ferment vegetables. (2) Use the popular Middle Eastern spice blend Za'atar for roasted meat or vegetables, or on pizza, dippings, and so on. The complex flavor will brighten your day!
In March, you are invited to visit homes in a small country in Africa. The tomato stew contains big loads of green spinach and fried chicken or beef. That's the kind of comfort food that you can't stop eating. We just love it! The 2nd dish is quickly baked in the oven with a popular green Mediterranean spice blend. Can you guess it? Bonus: Boost the nutritional value of any dish with a sample of a trendy green leave - and the color too. Ready for St. Patrick's Day?
