- This kit makes the perfect gift for that little Einstein in your life, who loves to build, tinker and create!
- The STEM Spy team is made up of educators, engineers, and parents who, for the past 4 years, have created engaging STEM activities and challenges for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
- The STEM SPY Kit is designed for 6 -12-year-old
- The box is designed and put together by hand in the United States by employees of the MobileQuest STEM Center
- The box is sent without “directions” to encourage and develop critical thinking for partcipants. Parameters are provided for each mission and participants must use the items in their kits to complete the mission.

Q: I’m interested in purchasing this box for my 8 year old son and was wondering if the “missions” will require adult help or is this an independent “mission”??Asked by Kris T., February 2021
Each mission is designed to be completed by children individually, but we encourage adult supervision when working with the kit. Each mission includes a video and parameters that must be completed for the mission to be deemed successful.

LOVE this subscription box!! Perfect gift!! I sent this as a birthday gift to my niece and she was so eager for each box to come!! It kept her mind busy and made her think outside of the box!! She loved all of the missions!! I highly recommend this product and can't wait to hear about next months mission!!

Creative box, cool idea. Right from the first package my son was officially hooked! As he embarked on the missions he was able to think outside of the box and be creative. When he was stuck we emailed STEM SPY and were provided with some helpful hints to guide him on the mission. Overall it was great and he is excited for his next mission!

I was not impressed with this subscription. I paid for the three month package. It took forever to get the first which was a letter with a black light pen. My daughter was super excited about it and then a couple weeks later we received the spy kit with a mission. I like that the student could come up with their own creation but do wish there was a little more instructions for when they "hit a wall".
This was also all we received, which was not worth the price in my opinion. I'm not sure if I was supposed to receive another for our 2nd or 3rd delivery but was about to be charged again so cancelled another 3 months. I'd recommend checking out another STEM box if that's what you are looking for.
Hi Meghan we apologize that you were disappointed in our product. We did have some supply chain issues this summer which did delay shipping. We changed our supplier and now have a steady supplier for items. In regards to the instructions, the kit is developed to create critical thinking skills and have students think outside the box. We do clearly state in the description of the kit that specific how-to directions are not included just the parameters to complete each mission. We do provide an email and an online portal that students can ask for help and directions when they "hit a wall" I do wish that you had contacted us prior to leaving this review so we could have addressed some of...
