Tillandsia Funckiana’s little species from Venezuela. It has long stems that twist and curve and are covered with thin, needle-like leaves. When in bloom, it will spike and flower and will produce a beautiful and vibrant orange-red coloring. Which is a rarer color for air plants.

The succulents are picked each month by us, there'll be 4 plants and depending on your specific box (1, 2 , 3 or 4 plants/ box) you'll receive a random order of the plants within the 4 chosen plants of the month.

Tillandsia Butzii, native to Mexico and Costa Rica, is a unique looking air plant with a speckled base and leaves. The base is bulbous with a deep purple-green color. The grassy green leaves are long, thin, and wavy like a rare type of fishtail. Butzii has a smooth and shiny surface. After this air plant blooms purple flowers, it will die but the offsets (pups) produced around its base will continue the life cycle.

Tillandsia Filifolia is native to Costa Rica and Mexico. Tillandsia filifolia is a hardy, thin leafed air plant that has medium green leaves that end with a dark base. The dark base is perfectly normal and part of the air plant's characteristics. When it starts to bloom it shoots up a thin flower bract which can have several offshoots. The flower can be light to dark purple. These look fantastic in glass globe terrariums.

Tillandsia Melanocrater Tricolor is a delicate air plant with a brown base. The plant changes color depending on how much sun exposure it receives: it turns red or purple with a lot of bright sunlight, and bright to dark green with less sunlight.

Stricta Green is one of the Tillandsia air plants. Often growing in large clumps, these plants are known for their beautiful neon pink bloom. The upside is that after Stricta produces their bloom, they begin the process of creating offsets, which will in turn bloom within the next year or two. Light: Bright indirect sunlight. Soil: No soil is needed. Water: Frequent misting several times a week is necessary. Stricta will also benefit from a soaking bath every week.
